Insects on the ark?
by keyser soze insome people in my brother's and sister-in-law's cong are putting on a play about noah's ark, and want all the children in the hall to participate, including my nieces and nephew.
they're really going all out with this, costumes, face paint, etc.
i see a tony award in the future!

The lesson I get from the story is: when people don't do what you want them to do it is ok to go about drowning them, and anyone related to them, their pets, their homes, their children, all of their relatives, make the eRTH a wasteland, and destroy even things that I made. anyone else get a different lesson from this story?

by Gopher ini just had to send a letter to the editor (see my next post) after the waynesville, north carolina local newspaper published this lovely little puff piece about jehovah's witnesses.. the last parts about blood transfusion and the "loving practice" of disfellowshipping were so absurd!.

By the way, I was inspired by this thread to change my name to JWactivist. This is what I want to be foremost in promoting. Since I have never been invited to participate in the activism section of this forum, I want to start my own activism, and people can email me if they want to be a part of any activism.

The paper's site actually DOES provide an easy template to respond to their articles. Write the following if you are not able to articulate it by yourself:
I did not agree with your article on Jehovah's witnesses.
I think the paper should write a retraction and include critical information on the WTS.
