Does a school have a responsibility to protect students from child molesters? The answer is obvious so to does anyone that knows a child or anyone else is in danger.if a school let Kendrick around its pupils knowing of his past they would be held responsible if he harmed a child .....so what makes the wts any different. by defender of truth inthe factors of the rowland v. christian case were applied to arrive at the latest conti ruling, according to an article entitled 'in childhood sexual abuse case, california appellate court finds church has no duty to prevent its members from harming each other':"the sole basis for the punitive damages claim was the contention that the defendants failed to fulfill their duty of warning members of the congregation that the witness had molested a child.on appeal, the reviewing court found that the alleged duty to warn could not be justified on the basis of a special relationship because there is no authority for any such broad duty on the part of a church to prevent its members from harming each other.

in the 1968 case of rowland v. christian, the court held that judicial exceptions to this general duty of care should only be created if clearly justified based on the following public-policy factors:*.the foreseeability of harm to the injured party;*.the degree of certainty he or she suffered injury;*.the closeness of the connection between the defendants conduct and the injury suffered;*.the moral blame attached to the defendants conduct;*.the policy of preventing future harm;*.the extent of the burden to the defendant and the consequences to the community of imposing a duty of care with resulting liability for breach;*.and the availability, cost, and prevalence of insurance for the risk involved.

Hello All!
by ihunt ini figure it's about time that i stop silently lurking around this community and actually add to the conversation, so here goes a first post.
a little about me-i was born "half-in", that is, my mother has been a witness for the entirety of my life whereas my father has never been.
i was an active part of the congregation (at least for what an unbaptized publisher can do) until i turned 18 and got an opportunity to attend a university (go school!).

Another 'devoted witness' dies, without the fulfillment of the promises

which set me thinking about death and the jws.
we were so positive that armageddon was coming in our life time that when death arrives on the door-step its hard for some to cope.. not that this man who just died may have been in that situation.

Flipper,I had a conversation with the Elders in my old congro about child molesters going from door to door.
The WTS has decided that its ok for them to go in F.S but imagine this Bro child molester starts a study with a family after a time the father finds out he is a child molester is around his family how do you think YOU would fell if you were that father ??
Naturally they tried to doge the question.
I said if i see any of the 2 child molesters in this congro going into anyone house ill be telling them.
Its not up to the WTS to decide its Ok for a known child molester to go into someones house its up the the house holder.
If the house holder has any questions dont worry ill pass on you guys phone number so you can ex plane it to them.
