  the jehovah's witnesses church in australia is the latest religious group to come to the attention of the royal commission into institutional responses to child sexual abuse.. the child sex abuse royal commission will hold a public hearing into controversial christian group the jehovah's witnesses, next month.. the inquiry, to be held in sydney, will hear from people who were allegedly sexually abused within the jehovah's witnesses church in australia.. it will examine how the jehovah's witnesses church and its company, the watchtower bible and tract society of australia, responded to claims of child sexual abuse within the organisation.. a victorian inquiry into how churches handle child sex abuse claims has previously taken submissions from former jehovah's witnesses who alleged instances of paedophilia, sexual assault, blackmail and death threats.. the organisation has 64,000 active "disciples" in australia but has also been described as a cult.. jehovah's witnesses believe their church is the one true religion and all others are wrong.

  earlier this morning, i posted off to the the institute of engineers an application for membership as an "engineering associate":.

  - today being just over 40 years since the congregation's retards elders made me abandon my apprenticeship.. (in this part of the world, the pre-1975 hype was taken to that level.

  not being content to prevent young persons attending university, they went one step further and treated with hostility any youngster who would "tie up five years of their lives" by entering into an apprenticeship.

  A big hello and thank you

  i just wanted to introduce myself and say a big hello to all of my mentally diseased friends.. i say friends because i have been lurking for some time so it feels like home (us lurkers are a bit scared and cautious so it takes a while).

  i won't bore you with too many details, but i am a born in, currently serving as the cobe of a congregation.

  my wife and i have pioneered for the last 10 years and were shaken awake by that ridiculous 15th july 2013 wt about the generation and 1914.. my wife who is much smarter than me has questioned for years.

  as a very young child i have memories of several book burnings done by jw families.

  it wasn't something arranged by the congregation, but elders did participate in it.

  it was actually scary for me as a child of only about 8 years old.

  i went to a j.w funeral and saw some people i used to hang out with many years ago and they all seemed to want to tell me if they or any member of their family were elders,m.s's,pioneers ect.. karter..

  at early dawn on the 25th april 1915, french, british and dominion troops were delivered by small boats to storm the shores of the turkish peninsular with the objective of invading turkey and forcing that country out of the war and causing the end of the great war by many months.. the operation was a complete disaster.

  the troops were landed not on the expected flat beaches but up against cliffs.

  the turks were prior informed and the invading soldiers were shot to hell.

  the factors of the rowland v. christian case were applied to arrive at the latest conti ruling, according to an article entitled 'in childhood sexual abuse case, california appellate court finds church has no duty to prevent its members from harming each other':"the sole basis for the punitive damages claim was the contention that the defendants failed to fulfill their duty of warning members of the congregation that the witness had molested a child.on appeal, the reviewing court found that the alleged duty to warn could not be justified on the basis of a special relationship because there is no authority for any such broad duty on the part of a church to prevent its members from harming each other.

  the court also applied the factors of rowland v. christian to determine whether a duty existed..."www.jdsupra.com/legalnews/in-childhood-sexual-abuse-case-californ-19456/......now take a look at this:" california civil code section 1714 imposes a general duty of ordinary care, which by default requires all persons to take reasonable measures to prevent harm to others.

  in the 1968 case of rowland v. christian, the court held that judicial exceptions to this general duty of care should only be created if clearly justified based on the following public-policy factors:*.the foreseeability of harm to the injured party;*.the degree of certainty he or she suffered injury;*.the closeness of the connection between the defendants conduct and the injury suffered;*.the moral blame attached to the defendants conduct;*.the policy of preventing future harm;*.the extent of the burden to the defendant and the consequences to the community of imposing a duty of care with resulting liability for breach;*.and the availability, cost, and prevalence of insurance for the risk involved.

  Does a school have a responsibility to protect students from child molesters? The answer is obvious so to does anyone that knows a child or anyone else is in danger.if a school let Kendrick around its pupils knowing of his past they would be held responsible if he harmed a child .....so what makes the wts any different.
