RIP "The greatest" my boyhood hero i saw all his fights ..one of his hardest fights was against the U.S draft board were when asked why he wouldn't go to Vietnam he said "I ain't got no quarrel with them Viet cong" and further saying "Ain't no Viet cong ever call me a nigger".
He was stripped of his world title for not going to Vietnam but came back to win and loose it 3 times.

the 25th april is the day in 1915 that the forces under incompetent commanders landed on the coast of turkey at a place called gallipoli or galliboli in turkish, in an effort to force turkey out of the great war.. the landings were an unmitigated blunder.

i went to the circuit assembly with my wife yesterday.
