Myself and another j.w were working in an area that was known as a gay hangout. There was a public toilet there that was a gay meet up place we saw a guy we suspected was gay (practicing j.w at the time)go in to the toilet and come out a long time latter....... He may have had a case of the runns but we suspected otherwise. Karter

i knew some bethelites that were very effeminate and i remember 4 women who were suspected of being lesbians by many in the congregation.
they eventually moved away and were very vocal against males, especially elders..

recommendation 16.27. the jehovah’s witness organisation should abandon its application of the two-witness rule in cases involving complaints of child sexual abuse.. recommendation 16.28. the jehovah’s witness organisation on should revise its policies so that women are involved in processes related to invesation and determining allegations of child sexual abuse.. recommendation 16.29. the jehovah’s witness organisation should no longer require its members to shun those who disassociate from the organisation in cases where the reason for disassocia on is related to a person being a victim of child sexual abuse..

Some of the recommendations are
Australia wide law requiring all adults to report known or suspected child abuse in Religious and other institutions.
A nation wide web site of child abusers.
The J.W's never took the ARC seriously and i doubt very much weather they will take on board anything from it.

How much in total do you think the W.T.S has payed out in child abuse cases??
by karter inthey have settled a lot out of court with gagging orders both ways so we will never know how much was payed out there.but some have been made public.

Re: Mentally diseased
by carla ini have been thinking about the mentally diseased belief/doctrine of jw's lately and the thread the other day about the mentally challenged child who was brutally (and humorously) honest at a convention got me to wonder something.
it seems to me that jw's use 'mentally diseased' in such a derogatory way as if it is a failing on the part of the person, or almost sinful (demons?
), or perhaps that person should just be dismissed on all counts all the time.

Woman threw Watchtower in my face so I voted yes to Australian gay marriage.
by Witness 007 inyears ago on one of my last witnessing trips i left two magazines with an intelligent looking woman with a lovely house.
she gave my a donation and we carried on.
after 45 minutes she tracked us down at another house and returned the mags to me saying we "hate homosexuals and are preaching hatred..." she looked very upset and i was shocked by this and because someone actually bothered to read the magazines i just left!
