Eclipse, I hope you are OK. I've never been stalked. But I have had certain circumstances where I have had my .357 mag out. A friend of mine was staying the night with her kids and her crazy ex showed up at 2 am. Note, it was in a rural area and we had a 1500 ft driveway. My hubby was in Las Vegas, so out I go with the gun. He never came close to the house, which was smart of him. He wouldn't leave so I called the sheriff. They had him leave. I called my husband the next day and told him. He called back later and said if I had any trouble to call him. He had people watching us and all he had to do was call them. I LOVE "connections"!

Please don't take any stalking lightly. Keep in contact with the police and have documentation of all interactions between you and the police, and you and the stalker. You're not in the US I see, so I don't know what your laws are on gun control. In our house we are for gun education and use if needed. You MUST know how to use it if you get one. My hubby is a licensed carrier.

I Need Thanksgiving Dinner Help...

this thanksgiving looks to be hectic.

we have out-of-town guests coming to stay with us.

in all, i'm planning on having 19 people for dinner.

Are all your dinner guests from out of town? If not have people make sides. If so, why not enlist kitchen help? But you can make, or get ready to cook, most of your sides. I really like Country Crock side dishes! Idahoan makes good instant mash taters and Heinz has great gravy! It's about being together and enjoying each other's company.

Listen to me-it's my first Thanksgiving and I'm hosting about 30! But I entertain alot, so I figure this won't be much different. I just won't get to watch as much football as everyone else!

Where does a JW start to research?? It's all LIES

i came to jwd because i was angry and scared of a person.

in my anger, i wanted to scream about my past life as a jw.

as a jw, if i was told to research, where would i start?

Honestly? I started reading the Bible. Even the NWT shows in the Gospels how far off the mark they are. I started thinking about scriptures without WT influence. Meanings completely changed. Eventually though they will have to do "apostate" research.

When I started researching on the internet, if they quoted a Watchtower, I looked it up myself if I could. And any scriptures were looked up too. It took me months and I had books everywhere. Really reading old bound volumes and the Proclaimers book was damning enough. I started to think it was like the Mormons, one man's invention.

How do you spot a doubter ?

hi all,i would like to know how to spot any doubters in my cong.the problem,as you are all well aware,is that everyone is to damn scared to openly say anything critical about the wts.so how can i ferret out any "would be doubters".any hints?

Just kidding. It doesn't bother me Big D. I buy rounds for cute women all the time. He comes home. And doesn't mind me dancing with 23 yr olds at clubs. It's all fun.

My Daugthers refusal to join us for secular holidays!

i don't understand, why my daugther refuses to come to her home during both thanksgiving and christmas.

we are trying to understand her beliefs, and keep an open mind.

we just want her to come and partake of being with her family....during these family times.

I kind of think the stilted English is a tip off, unless they're from a foreign country of course. Well then it would make sense. But do they say secular holidays in Finland or Zimbabwe? I'm going to do some research and get back with ya'll later.
