  A New Kitten . . . (Katie Kitten)

  i feel quite giddy making this announcement!.

  katie kitten (louise) text me last night at 11.30pm to tell me to tell you all she's had a litter of one.

  a little boy, josef jack, 8lb 14oz, born 5.55am on nov 15th.. she apparently had a long and somewhat rough time of it and is gonna be in hospital a day or two.. i'll be the first to say congratulations.

  That completely true eclipse. It is frustrating to not go to her house and check on her, but thank goodness for the web of friends who care for her also.

  most disturbing movie scene you've seen?

  i haven't seen this topic on here so i thought i'd.... hmmm, maybe it's because it's just too disturbing?

  to me, the scene in saving private ryan - the two soldiers in the small upstairs room fighting hand to hand to the death (by stabbing).

  i think that is the most disturbing thing i've seen on screen and there were plenty just in that film alone.

  Were you pressured into marrying/having children young?

  this is probably something women in the organisation experience more than men.

  even though we were instructed from the platform to use our youth to go pioneering, the older sisters in the congregation always seemed to be pushing younger women to marry and have children so they would be 'happy' like them .

  when i got married (far too young, lucky it worked out) there was instant teasing, encouragement, etc to procreate.

  Although we married young, we wanted to. My parents discouraged it. But it has worked out OK, just a few bumps. 15 yrs last May. And we waited 3 yrs until a baby. I was proud of that!
