My sis in law is having corned beef,cabbage for green money or paper, and black eyed peas for coins.

we do roast pork, collard greens and black eyed peas.
i may add home made dumplings and sour kraut and cabbage with caraway seeds for our czechoslovakian side.. parades and football of course, instead of field service (circus)..

gorgeous crescent moon with Venus above tonite!
by Sunnygal41 ini've been watching the sky show tonite as the velvet curtain of night slowly fell...........there is a beautiful crescent moon, with venus at right angles to her..........i also saw the three planets about two/three months ago...........i am loving the huge windows in my fourth floor apartment........i see sooo much up here!.

When we were 13 and 12, a mutual friend introduced us at a "get together". He wouldn't even talk to me. He said I was a brat!
Then we got reacquainted when I dated his friend, very briefly. He and his mom moved into our hall and he teased me and my friend all through the DC. When he called me afterwards I didn't want to call him back because he was so damn annoying! I did, and we talked for 3 hours. We were married 9 months later at 18 and 19.
That was 17 years and 3 kids ago. Bumps along the road, of course, but so happy we are plugging along!

For Daughters
by purplesofa inmy mother and i do not get along very well, it's not just with me, she does not get along with all her kids.
i have not liked my mom for many years.. so, here lately, i find myself acting like my mom, at least i think i am in some way.. like her undesirable traits are in me and creeping out.. were they always there?
have i always been like her and was in denial?.

I fight really hard to not be like my mom was when I was growing up. I will never act like she did. But I do notice some physical characteristics that are the same. Our hands and butts!

the funeral will be held next monday, december 29th, at radcliffe crematorium.
