  i have heard some people say that they have low self esteem.

  i don't understand that.

  why did you choose to have low self esteem?

  My mother has always been disgusted from people with high self-esteem and talked negatively with me about those people. Maybe, because it has been her secret wish to be like them? However, I think it has had some impact on me. But I am working on it. :-)

  correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't man create the sword?

  what was god doing with a blade in heaven?

  Hmm. As I wrote above I did the "real" Myers-Briggs (more than 150 questions) at work. Result: INTJ
  
  Now I have taken the one you refer to. Result: ISFJ
  
  I am getting a little confused now. I and J seem to be the only constants in my personality. ;-)

  Do you think that JW's will ever get rid of the 1914-doctrine?

  after awhile the jw's will have to do something about 1914 when it crumbles right before them.

  how long can they hold onto this russell-invented doctrine?

  For some years I had the feeling that 1914 was mentioned less and less.
  
  But now in 2004 I think they decided to stress it again. I think of the 120-period from Noah they mentioned close to 1914. And the recent Awake!-story of Alton Williams, the nuclear scientist who praised the 1914 calculation as "mathematically flawless". And in one of the most recent Watchtowers (2/15/2004?)they again promoted their 2,520years calculation at length.
  
  At present, I do not think they are trying to get rid of it.

  well i have redone the maps.

  it was helpful to have them separated before while i was trying to make them all.

  but now i think it is easier to have them separated.. ballistic has done an amazing job with the map of the uk you can find it at.

  A question about 1914

  i have a question.

  i was reading about russell figuring the date 1914 from the great pyramid.

  how do the jws explain it now?it seems that is one of the teachings that hasnt changed.by that i mean the date.

  Russell had several approaches to get to 1914. The "Berean Bible Manual" lists 20 different "proofs" for 1914. Only one still exists and this is the "Seven Times" from the book of Daniel which are equaled to 2,520 years staring in 537 BC. The pyramid plays no role any more - like the other "proofs".

  Do JW scholars always have tie problems?

  i found pictures of the only two jw scholars i know of.

  both seem not to care about their tie when a photo is taken.
