And he says: "Bohemian Rhapsody will never be that song, that young people will headbang to while driving a car."

why when i can get many books and magazines sent through the post from many other cults does the watchtower make a big fuss about a little 16 page magazine.
They have a more cost-efficient delivery service.

this Watchtower stating that "Another One Bites the Dust" is backwards "It is fun to smoke marijuana".
Was that actually in print? I don't remember seeing it.
I quoted it above:
"There have also been recordings of unscriptural and even demonistic messages by means of a technique called backward masking, used by a number of musical groups. When the recording of one very popular song is played backward, it repeatedly says, “Decide to smoke marijuana.” (w83 10/15 pp. 10-15)
imagine that you are in the middle of the (jws version) great tribulation.
food and basic supplies are scarce, the secret and not-so-secret police are actively searching for you and your family.
you have to make it to bro faithful's secret bunker to hunker down with the rest of the congregation.
Like meat in due season, Jehovah will be providing for a miraculous stop of facial hair growing.

"In the early 1980s, "Another One Bites the Dust" was one of many popular rock songs that Christian evangelists alleged contained subliminal messages through a technique called backmasking. It was claimed that the chorus, when played in reverse, can be heard as "Decide to smoke marijuana", "It's fun to smoke marijuana", or "Start to smoke marijuana".A spokeswoman for Hollywood Records (Queen's current US label) has denied that the song contains such a message. I have also been a life long fan of Queen. My JW parents were not happy with me listening to this obviously gay singer and then there was this Watchtower stating that "Another One Bites the Dust" is backwards "It is fun to smoke marijuana".
However, I liked the movie which got me somehow emotional. I recommend to watch it in a modern cincema. The sound is fantastic and so are the scenes of the Life Aid gig.
But I would have expected that it also touches the later years of the band.
in the real world, very few parents would disown their own children simply because they read a magazine that told them to do it.
very few people would forever completely ignore their own parents because an elder got up on a platform one day and announced that they no longer follow the same religion as you.. in the real world it just doesn't happen.
and yet, for 8 million jehovah's witnesses it's very a normal part of their world to treat "other people" differently than they'd treat each other.
so canada has legalized pot / marijuana / cannabis and you can go to stores today and buy some.
the local news is covering it here in calgary with crowds of thousands expected at one of only 2 stores licensed in the city but last i saw, there were only 7 people in the line so who knows how popular it will be.
i imagine all the people who really wanted to get it could already get it easily so this is more about expanding the market to new users who will be less inclined to queue for hours on day 1.. apparently you'll also be able to purchase online with discreet delivery by canada post.
This has been the case in the Netherlands for decades with the exception that professional growing is still illegal.
By the way, in 2015 NL was ranked on #9 in terms of productivity while Canada was on #18.
i have never seen this country so divided.
something is going to give.
they is such a lack of recognition for the law.
All those people on an XJW-board longing for the Great Tribulation and Doomsday...

love the way GermanXJW ignores the names of the many gang members who sexually abused German women on New Year's Eve across Germany a while ago.
Why do you "love" this? Is it not because you are compassionate with the victims? Is it only to utilize them for your argumentation?
Btw, it was not "across Germany", it was the city of Cologne. Bad enough, but not a national situation. But iconic for the far.right who just "loved it".
