  brumley,an official "general councel for jws has stated outright that the two-witness policy is "simply not true".

  Does Roman Catholicism Teach The "Truth"?

  out of all mainstream religions, roman catholicism seems to be the most cultic to me, even more so than jehovah's witnesses in certain ways.. the belief in transubstantiation , i think that's how it's spelled, is weird!

  the attire of the clergy is satanic looking.

  the view of papal authority is not that much different than a jw's view of "the slave".. .

  The RCC is as much a sham as the WBTS is. One poster on here said "Catholics do not place as much emphasis on the Bible as they do history and tradition ... that is why they preserved the rituals they have (as do the Orthodox) for the last 2,000 years". That's sad but actually true, much of my family are Catholic as well as my girlfriend's family. I see this mentality as the norm. In reality the RCC tradition is similar to the various doctrines of the WBTS, in the sense that many teachings are not verifable by the Bible, but by a council (from the clergy) or publication. As long as "we say so" who cares if it's in the Bible or not, so the thought goes for many. With tradition it's voted what's of God and hey we have a new truth for evermore...where do we stop...ya don't nor do they. To oppose the "mother" would be to oppose God, don't dare challenge her even if you have "proof" of lies/false teachings. It's really no surprise that Catholics often convert to the WBTS and visa versa...change a few doctrines/names, but the structure is virtually the same.

  That's my 2 pennies worth...

  Who the HELL is this "Impossible/Implausible-San" guy that loves to hi-jack all of these informative and wonderful threads? I mean really dude, do you not get enough attention on your tiny forum so you have to come here to post your drivel? I've been watching you hi-jack so many threads on here and it's sad really. Do you get paid to be an A$$ or is this your passionate hobby? You're taking quality threads (such as this one) and making it hard for the REAL researchers to find the intelligent posts. Don't poop in the punch cause damn I'm thirsty.

  Now, what kind of weak, broken English (ya I said it) ,childish comeback are you going to come up with after reading this? Since being a member on here, IMO you're one of the most childish/rudest folks I've seen post. Ya ya ya I know "my English is bad" you say but in real life (in person) your mouth would get you in trouble....especially here in Los Angeles (you sure know enough English to talk smack) .

  i was just "removed" for this site.

  i asked to many pointed questions.

  at one point i left the most vocal jw with nothing to say.. in the end the moderator ask why i was there (on their website).. my reply was to ask what she was doing at the homeowners door.i'm not sure she understood what i meant.

  hey there:.

  the other day i was discussing the topic of the verse where jesus apparently uses the term i am in reference to himself.. this claim obviously referring to his being god.. i could swear that i have read somewhere that this term ego emi (sp) was used elsewhere in the nt by someone other than jesus.. i am wondering if anyone here would have any information on this topic.. thx in advance..
