Sure I agree with you...question away but some spend their entire life with mere questions while not truly looking for any of the answers. It's a life's work of being on "the debate team". Explore all of the possibilites then what? Many IMO (not saying all) that don't believe in God would just rather put off somthing out side of them and their sphere of influence since it really doesn't affect them or their choicesanyways...what if it does?

"Sure we do. Earthquakes are a result of tectonic activity. No way man can affect that. Tsunamis can be a result of earthquakes. No way man can affect that. Tornados and hurricanes are not caused by man. Large meteroid or asteroid striking the surface of the Earth are not caused by man."

"Cancer and disease are age old. They attack children. Humans did not do that."

I believe FlyingHighNow might be saying that all of this is a result from the fall/sins of man...eg tectonic activitystemming from deluge of the flood, the fountains of the deep erupting, and entropy/disease coming from the fall in the garden etc. Just a thought I'm sure you'll reject.

"This is not strictly correct, everything did not begin at the big bang, the theory is that there was already a point mass that exploded at the big bang."

Why can't that point mass be God, maybe just a little bigger? lol. It's really faith no matter which side you're on. I'm assuming that point mass is eternal, and what exactly is it...man seen has it with his eyes, no?

"Why doesn't god just come out and proclaim his existence? Why do we need a case for it"?

What about if he already has and you're looking at the data from the wrong angle? I'm not saying you in paticular, but there are those, even if a divine being came down in "chariots of fire", they would say "how do we know this is not just a "Copperfield" magic trick..."? Or"how do we know this is God but just another creature from another world or how do we prove he created everything?"

As the saying goes "an atheist can't find God for the same reason a criminal can't find a cop". I was not inclined to find God-since I spent so much time refuting him-for 18 years and guess what...I didn't.

actually, this is part 8 or 9, i can't remember, but i thought i would number them from now on.. i am an active witness, and i want to help my friends and family.

i have had some success in trying to get them to reason, because i always state at the outset, and at the end of the conversation, that i support the faithful slave and gb no matter what.. so since i have a big vehicle, some of the older ones asked me to take them to special assembly day this past weekend.

i had already been, and i told you all about it, but i agreed.
