  Let me say this what I heard recently. Jesus came to the earth as the only begotten, but when he left the earth he became the first begotten...since Christians after his resurrection were then offered the chance of being "spirit begotten/regenerated" and grafted in as heirs.

  All I will say is this. Show me anything in nature, a plant, human, animal etc that is "begotten" from a source. Does not this "begotten" have the same nature, DNA, essence, substance etc as the one who begat him/her/it? Why would the case of Jesus be ANY different?

  Cats begat cats

  Roses begat roses

  humans begat humans

  GODS BEGAT GODS

  Not really that hard...unless you like driving blindfolded!!! It's amazing how JW's weasel out of this...AMAZING!!!

  trying hard to be tolerant... would much rather hear the music he is practicing to...than just the plain drumming.. his uncle sent him a complete set of ludwigs from the 60's.....now set up in the house........ arrrrrgggg~.

  On a good note, I do love his book " Ultimate Realistic Rock: Drum Method" and it's considered one of the better drum books out there. I guess I can't completely shred this guy...no pun intended.

  What to say about Carmine Appice? I saw him fairly recent at a drum clinic in Hollywood. I have to say that I was rather disappointed about this "living legend". I will cut him some slack since he's getting rather old but seeing him live, I was quite underwhelmed. His timing was off, pocket was shallow, his constant half fake twirls lame, and he spent most of the time telling us about how John Bonham ripped him and his beats/moves off. Not quite what I expected from the hype of this guy.

  i myself have always believed that when archaeology disagreed with the bible the bible must be right.

  that is how i dismissed the idea that jerusalem was destroyed in 586/587 bce.
