my priest says there's hope because she's been disfellowshipped and to give it 6 months.
one minute says she wants to become a citizen, the next minute i tell her that if she does that as an american i would expect her to salute the flag and especially vote if she naturalizes, and then she talks about going back to her own country!!.

I don't believe I am swaying anyone to think anyway. I am proving to myself that this religion is in fact the true religion by answering or veiwing the ideas of those who left. I honestly thought that all of you have valid points of veiw to oppose this belief system, but all I see is spiritualy dead and selfish comments of how they hate the org.
I would compare the org. like the US military where they send soldiers out to fight with muskets and knifes, as they learn more about war along the way. War changed as years passed and so did the soldier. Soon the Tommy gun and A1 grand were introduced but the shot gun was still around, just changed to better kill the enemy. Then came the M-16, AK-47, MP5A2, and all the other guns out there that kill quick and efectively. Now, there are different types of soldiers, you have the recon sniper, the demolition spec., the tanker, the pilot, the anti-terrorist, the guard, etc... This was due to the fact that they evolved and got the best of what is efective to do the job right the first time.
The Org. changed to become a better spiritual fighting force against Satan and his minions of demons and those who follow them. Mabey you don't believe this, but The Jehovah's Witness are the only religion that fight evil in its purest spiritual form around the globe.

Well, the true intention of this writer is to collect info and make sence of what he has, but many critics already denounce his work to be factual and be more speculation due to the fact that alot of his years are off. Yesterday I not only read his junk, but I also read the critics that talk about him.
The Bible is trusted since it is the oldest book and it has never been ruined. Other books that existed no longer are around because they were not protected by Jehovah God. The Bible was protected and it is still very much alive and in use. Courts use it to have people swear by it. Why not see what this book contains that have human courts trust to swear by it.

Trully a good read, however, the diffrence between what you read and what I read is that you read words of man and I read words from God. I believe in what I read without a doubt. How much do you trust in what you read? Where is the proof of who you read about? or the proof in what what you read?

Why is religion such a mass of confusion?
by evergreen inas a person who has not attended meetings for some time now, and having stood back and looked at the thousands of different faith groups, organisations, churches etc i often think how on earth are we to know what direction to go.
if a person looks deeply into their own faith questioning how, what and why... the deeper the hole gets as to errors.
from my own experience having firstly been a catholic then a jw, all i see are manmade rituals and rules mingled in with biblical principles and commandments.

"The truth should stand up to any amount of questioning."
This is true, because during my study, I have found that the living God Jehovah answers all my questions in the Bible. Not the WT or the Elders, although they sure study alot to inform everyone what the Bible states.
I have been to many of these selfish and weeping contraversy sites about the JWs and the BG and the WT. But all they want is to sell you something or be sorry for their selfish and worldly sins. I even went to one that was trying to start up a new religion as he describes how lazy you can get while you give him money.
All of these sites are a bunch of cry babies just trying to make an easy buck. As far as Jehovah being the god of storm... I think you have him confused with Zeus. By the way, have you read the book of En'och? this is a very enlightning book. The fact that it is writen in the Bible on the book of Jude verse 14 and 15 got me interested. Mabye all the gods like Zeus, Athena, Ra, Osiris, Odin, Thor, and all the others where actually fallen angels in human bodies. Who knows, mabey they all were here before the great flood?

eunice spry, infamous child abuser hit the headlines last year.. then the jw pedophile who escpaed jail despite abusing many children including a baby.. this week we discover the disturbing loss of a jw mother who haemorraged in childbirth and refused a potentially life saving blood transfusion.. i'm sure there are many more case you can think of.. do you think jehovah is pleased with the people that are supposedly a people for his name.
or do you think he's a tad embarrassed at the bad and foolish behaviour?.

Hey what about the preachers of the Catholic church, the muslims in the middle east, or the Mormons who do much worse than the JWs. Lets talk about these other religions and how many times they have been to court, more times than the JWs thats for sure. How about the veiws that come from the Holy Bible rather from your own knowledge or understanding.
