Are there a minimum set of core beliefs that all Christians accept?

for example, a christian could not simply believe that jesus was a compassionate man could he?

christ must be accepted as being divine either as part of a trinity or at least as the son of god.. must a christian believe that the miracles of jesus as recorded in the bible are actual events or can they be accepted as allegory?must a christian believe that "all scripture is inspired of god"?jesus is said to separate the sheep from the goats - can you be a christian without accepting that jesus will kill all the goats?there seems to be so much about christ that many christians are simply too uncomfortable to discuss.

i would like to know, because i just don't understand, how anyone can live life feeling god does not and can not exist?

Simple, by understanding that the devil exists and lives among us. The story goes that God cleaned the heavens first and soon he will clean the earth. To sucsessfully win any battle, you have to take stratigic places to attack better and win the war.

See, the whole CIA torturing the terrorists is out there now. I also believe the terrorists torture too, not to mention that they cut heads off.

My base on that morals are on its all time low is the fact that before, all the crimes of torture and death deal with very little to almost no knowledge of these happenings until it is already to late. So many died in the inquisition and nobody knew about it, so life continued and people didn't hear about it until decades latter. The nazi killed so many jews and no body knew about it until the american army showed up and saw what happened.

Today, however, war on Irak, killing on a public mall, killings on school grounds, fires destroy homes, Ice storms kill many, car bombs, rape and death of a minor, children soldiers, refugees drown, your not even safe in your own home you have to put up bars of steel and alarm system to keep people out, you can't even go out for groceries because man is prone to have accidents that could be mortal.

Everything is known and spoken about. All of this is just a few days time that I'm writing about, I'm not mentioning the attack on the twin towers or the colombine incident or other massive news. Now bear in mind, I know I as a man can not trust in not even my neighbor who lives next to me, How can you live knowing that there is no God to retreat for mental peace, at least, and go on life saying that there is no God?

I just don't get it.

History has held up with it's share of suffering and cruel intentions. Take for example the inquisition for example, many suffered torture and up to death for not being in the right religion. Then there is consentration camps where if you are in the wrong side you get locked up and tortured for your patrotism. Lets not forget how moral issues are being questioned to the point that kids kill without remorse or men rape any woman just for lust and/or power! Morals are at an all time low this milenium then any other. I do believe in God because he has proven to me that every thing he has said has come true.

To answer a few questions that pretty much sound similar, I try to give you what I have read in The Holy Bible, not what the GB or WT or JWs think, say, or teach. What I intend to do is show you by what I have reaserched on my own the things that Jehovah (YHWH) says in his word. I know many here have their opinions on the JWs belief system, I for one will say this, They are closer to the truth that most religions. But leave this to the side, what do you believe Jehovah (YHWH) asks of you?

I haven't ran off, just busy at work. I usually get in the forum when I have no work to do and sit here waiting for a work order. But here I am. now to answer your questions.

Cool! here it goes.

People are sinners, this everyone knows, more now than before. However just because of the acts of one person doesn't condem everyone who is in the org. It's like saying that all blonds are dumb, not true. This act was really bad and they did what they had to do. Case close. But I guess you can't let it go because of past issues you may have with them that make you who you are, Antichrist. If you read the bible you will notice that Jehovah wants the best for us. Return to the truth and allow the light shine on you like it has on me. Follow Jehovah and his son King Jesus, not the sinnful people that are in the congragation or WTBS. Just Jehovah.

Actually,

You are WAY off. Jesus spoke about the sheep who are having troubling times yet are still interested in coming back to his teachings, he was NOT speaking about those who left and want nothing to do with Jesus. This is the people who John talked about being the antichrist, the slefish people who wish only to turn the sheep into wolves to take more sheep away from the beliefs of God. kind like you.
