How to Take Down the AAWA! (For those that have been hurt by that org)
by HintOfLime in(if you're tired of aawa threads, please be aware, this is an aawa thread.).
sadly - there are people who have been negatively affected by the aawa, and like other organizations, the aawa made protecting it's name and reputation a priority over helping and protecting the people it should have been trying to help.
like other organizations, they won't discuss the issues publicly with the community, insisting instead on discussions behind closed doors and "getting the names" of people expressing concerns.. .

Why do JWs get married at a young age?
by XPeterX inages like 20-25 or younger.i mean damn,a 21 year old guy in my congo got baptised a couple weeks back and now his in a relationship with a jw gal and their getting married soon.any thoughts?.

I think that the emotional isolation drives young JW's towards one another. Think about it, you are bombarded by the bullshit dogma and hampered in your desire to bond with the majority of people that you know from school, work, etc. Couple that to the doomsday/persecution complex and marriage probably seems like a safety blanket for these kids. Terrible.
On second thought...they probably just wanna F***.

I helped save a life yesterday
by sooner7nc induring my er clinical we had an elderly gentleman go into ventricular tachycardia and then completely crash.. a couple of other students and i did chest compressions and bagged him while the doc and the rns did their work.. after about 20 or 25 minutes the guy stabilized.. f***ing incredible experience!.
