  I still believe that when we die that it if something to happen in a after life then fine if not I'll never know. I still consider myself a christian so I proably buy a cross who cares whether Jesus died on a cross or a stake he still died so why not express that.

  New Generation Understanding

  hello everyone, i am new here and newly freed from the snare of wtbs.

  my sister, also newly freed, said our mom told her at the annual meeting there was a new "understanding" on the generation confusion.

  it is now the annointed that will not pass away.. has anyone else heard this?

  Hey Momzcrazy I'm new too. Did you fade or just left. I'm glad you didnt die from your medical scare. I'm also glad your letting your children celebrate the holidays. My mom Df and she barely uses her freedom she still asks like a witness from time to time except from the few swear words. I cant believe they change the meaning of generation again. My god you know lies always catch up with people because of time.

  Have elders lost power they once had over the flock?

  the wts still gives the elders the same authority over the cong as before but is the cong controlled as much by the elders?.

  Im finding that more people are starting to careless if they get Df or Da. The only time they really care is if they have close family in the org. Before I left 4 people were Df before me. Its like okay i do have another life you know.

  If a patient went to see a doctor (Doctor X) with a severe illness. Doctor X says "yes I know what is causing this, and I think what will happen if we don't treat it is that the patient will suffer years of pain and trauma followed by death. Although my colleague, Dr Y believes that the patient won't suffer. However, I have spent years studying this kind of illness and I am convinced that I am right. There is an easy way to cure this, but I want to be proved right. I want to prove Dr Y to be wrong".

  Wow that makes a lot of sense. When I use to go door to door I would tell people that Jehovah was doing this to santify his name. Satan brought up an important argument and Jehovah had to in other words prove his point. Who has the right to rule. I think the point was proved a long time ago. As a matter of fact before 1914 cause people have always been dying. According to the scriptures whats humans worst enemy? Not Satan but DEATH.

  Its just a child going through a divorce trail but parents fighting for costody.Both claiming to be best parent for the job. The fair minded judge decides to let the child spend his first 18 years with his mother than the next 18 years with his father. 36 years later yeah the child knows of the best parent was but really how did that personally help the child. If anything he came out worst.

  The Depths They Will Sink To.....

  having almost gotten over my jw ex-best friend telling me she could no longer be my friend, handing me back my spare keys, sending a note and present to my kids with not even a 'dear sam', shunning me in the park, etc, etc she now sacks her immigrant cleaner (who became her cleaner due to my recommendation a year ago) by text message.

  cleaner phones her to check out what's going on and she tells her you can no longer clean for us as you work for sam and my husband wants us to have no connection whatever - you may tell her things about us and we don't want that.

  charming, another kick in the stomach for me and a great witness to the cleaner (who ironically we found out a few months ago has a father who is a witness!).

  I feel you My ex- best friend and I been through everything together. When I told her plans for life which didnt include being a JW she shut me down. Like all those years didnt mean a damn thing. Its crazy like there really was no emotion nor connection nada.

  someone i love asked me that the other day.. i said: "i'm a good person, and i love my family".

  i also said: "regardless of religion, i strive to follow the 'golden rule'.".

  i don't think this is what the person wanted to hear.. so, now that you no longer "serve jehovah", what are your friuts?.

  When you say fruits do you mean fruit of the Looms. Cause I think their cotton underwear is the best. I even like the way their briefs look sexy. Where do you get off asking a person that whats that suppose to be a thinking question.

  what was up w.that talk?omg,i was soooo bored that i ate two rolls of life savers and then did orgami w/the wrappers..whoa,if that wasnt some kinda mindcopulation than i dont know what is...then the watchtower with the 'millionaires are miserable depressed people'..sheeyit,like poor folks are not depressed???

  What kind of people remain members and will serve the WTS to the end?

  my family have been members of the wts since the 1980's.

  they never went to college,don't read any books besides watchtower material,have no hobbies,don't have any friends besides witness "friends",worked manual labor jobs all their lives,never questioned anything the wts changes,and have never looked into any other teachings besides the wts propaganda.

  { in other words: they are closed minded and not very inquisitive}.

  You cant be open minded and be a witness it just dont mix. If you agree to anything else besides what is believe your an apostate. If your friends with people other than the witnessess your consider bad association cause your with bad association.

  then how come the adventists have 15 million members and jw's only 6.7, when they originated at around the same time?

  Halls are going up all the time but the number is still 6.5 million maybe they assume all the DFs and DAs are coming back in at the same time to fill up all the extra halls.
