People who practice religiously based shunning should be outed and then harrassed at their job or place of business until they are brought to tears.

My thoughts on the shunning part at the convention
by stuckinamovement inthe wts has gone off the rails and is "unrepentantly" hateful.
they are blatantly requiring mothers and fathers to disown/hate their own children that they have loved and cared for since birth simply because they don't comply with the orgs demands.
how is this love?

WTBTS vs. Islam
by kairos inthe articles and meeting parts have been missing something all along, as far as i can see.. jws are taught to demonize all 'worldly' ( not jws) organizations, individuals and religions as having no value only to be destroyed by god at 'harm-you-gettin'-( armageddon ).. why do they not mention islam?no scathing denouncements?.
the only publication i really remember, was the "mankind's search for god" book that touched on the beliefs and practices of muslims.. why do you think this is the case?.

The JW beef is with Christendom more than Islam because they claim to be the only True Christians. They can't tell a Muslim that he isn't a true Muslim. I would imagine that the Jehovah's WItnesses would be more likely than other Christians to submit to dhimmi status and to pay the jizya head tax. -

Kairos, the problem with Islam is that moderate Islam doesn't appeal to those suffering the effects of colonialism, Zionism and racism, and theocratic Sharia Islam does. Think about how zealous the Spanish were for Canon Law and the Inquisition after the Andalusian era. There aren't Sunnis or Shi'ites, or moderates and radicals. There are Batini or spiritual Muslims, and Sharia, or legalistic Muslims. Sufis and Agha Khanis are the non-legalistic ones and they are small minorities, while the Salafi legalists have money, numbers, and influence thanks to the wealth of the Gulf Arab states. -

Muslims are a hard sell. The Muslims pay people when they convert, specifically to offset leaving behind old associations. That's a whole lot better than love bombing. Maybe if Jehovah's Witnesses weren't so anti-education they'd be able to afford to keep their kingdom halls and pay people to convert. -

The name is ominous if you speak any Arabic. It would translate almost as the kind of pen name a crypto apostate would have. 'Natheer Salih' translates as 'Earnest Warner' which is the kind of name conspiracy theories are made of. -

Maybe if they come up with a Jamaican Patois New World Translation they can drum up New Jamaican Congregations out of thin air and call it growth.

Jamaica is probably the poorest of Her Majesty's Realms within the commonwealth, so calling it a 'Temple' instead of a 'Kingdom Hall' might have actually been done out of courtesy to the Queen. -

Something is fishy here. Natheer Salih is not a Jewish name. It's a very Islamic name. -

Did Freddy Franz receive secret instructions from a Jewish aquaintance?
by truthseeker ini recently met a sister who told me she heard of a story that the late president of the watchtower society, mr. freddy franz, received secret instructions on how to direct the organization from a jewish acquaintance.. is this a conspiracy theory or could there be some truth to it?.

Natheer Salih sounds more like a Shiite name than a Jewish one. BTW Natheer Salih would translate from the Arabic as almost a pun 'Earnest Warner', particularly poignant in this situation. -

What does the rise of Donald Trump tell us about the USA?
by fulltimestudent ini thank one of my former lecturers for drawing my attention to this overview.. after some 100 years, living out its "manifest destiny" dream, as the hegemon of the world, what has this 'dream' done to/for the usa?
the approaching presidential election provides an opportunity to examine this question.. and what of all the appendage organisations (like the wts) that rode across the world on the hegemon's coattails?.
the answer may be here: http://www.vox.com/2016/3/1/11127424/trump-authoritarianism.

I think America is burnt out with her alliances. Look at South Korea. Tell South Korea to be an immigrant-friendly multicultural country and do it chop-chop like America and Western Europe or say goodbye to America's protection! We aren't just the Policeman of the World, we're the underpaid corrupt and aging Tijuana policeman of the world. BTW I don't support Trump, but the thing about our alliances makes a lot of sense. It would be a lot more constructive if Trump weren't such an insult-comic fascist. Mussolini and a Dorito fell in love and had a baby and named him Trump.
