Just tell the elders that you don't have a sexy chiseled chin like them and that it is unchristian to persecute a less handsome one in such a convoluted way that they can't tell whether you are sincere or sarcastic.

Veganism is great as long as you have the right kind of constitution for it. I don't because vegetable protein tends to be high in oxalates that form stones in me. I guess if I stuck to hummus, white bread and coleslaw I could survive.

Jehovah’s Witnesses do not seek truth and prefer to follow their hearts...
by garyneal init’s been a while since i posted some thoughts of mine concerning the jehovah’s witnesses and the watchtower babble and trash society.
okay, i will be respectable and say it right, the watchtower bible and tract society.
i do, however, think about the doctrines quite a bit as well as the overall doctrines from christianity in general.

How many times have I told my wife that whether such information is coming from an apostate source is irrelevant and to consider it irrelevant without investigating the factuality of the information is an ad hominem rejection. I then ask my wife is Jehovah a God of Logic or Pathos? Then she stoops to name-calling. She wouldn't do that to a householder going from house to house, but as her husband I'm fair game.

The Dutch were the suppliers of African prints for years until African countries started producing their own fabrics. I remember some bright dressers when I briefly visited the Netherlands too. -

Whether you are a small entrepreneur or a BLM activist, we all want the man out of our business. Guns, Mexicans, Marijuana, and Muslims are all here to stay and any attempt to purge this country of any of these people or things will only backfire. Both Hillary and Trump could really mess up free trade this time around. I don't trust either of them. They are both crooked and triggerhappy. Vote for the Gary Johnson the pothead, because character matters. -

False Prophecy in the Bible: Zebulun

There are some Japanese Messianics that think Japan is the lost Tribe of Zebulon.

I chalk it up to a generation raised on violent video games that are now cops but now have to be downright diplomatic after Boston vs. Glik allows everyone to record police interactions. Maybe ride-alongs in lieu of Jury Duty is the Answer, so everybody is a cop and everybody is watching the cops and appreciating the work they do without giving them cart blanche with peoples' lives which is a lot of white peoples' attitudes. You can't very well practice racial profiling with a citizen of color as your ride-along.

Why are anniversaries allowed but not birthdays?
by hyperpen inthe scripture quotes aside, i was always told that we don't celebrate birthdays because that is a celebration of the self, which has no place in jehovah's organization.
then why celebrate anniversaries?
anniversary celebrations are about the joining of two selves, isn't that twice as selfish?.

Salafi/Wahhabi Muslims, not all Muslims, but the Saudis and the Terrorists, also don't celebrate birthdays, and criticize the Muslims who do. Ah, the parallel evolution of extreme positions! The joy of Sects!

What a perfect venue for preaching. You have corruption, boycotts, substandard accommodations for the athletes, a police strike. In Rio right now the world does seem to be going to hell in a handbasket and people dealing with the stress of it all might be more open to the message than under normal circumstances.

How would the world be different if there were no JWs?
by JW_Rogue ini think this would be a great question to ask active jws.
they love to say how the world would be so different if everyone was a jw.
however, what if we flip the question and ask, would the world really be much different if the jw faith never came into existence?

There would be more Christadelphians, and therefore fewer poor people living on the edge using 'the Devil made me do it' excuse.
