Well the generation of 1914 can't possibly be the Twelve Tribes of Israel because to enter the gates of the New Jerusalem you have to know what tribe you are from. I actually belonged to an organization known as the Twelve Tribes of Israel. Not the cult up in Vermont, or the Black Hebrews, but the Twelve Tribes of Israel founded in Jamaica. Bob Marley helped spread The Twelve Tribes Organization all over the world. Every chapter was run by Twelve Brethren from Twelve Tribes each born in a different month, one of which is an overseer, and Sister Dinah. Twelve Tribes also teaches these are the last days, and they don't really celebrate pagan holidays as an organization, but the similarity to JW generally ends there. They do not hold authority over people's personal lives, instead teaching that everyone should 'Read a Chapter a Day from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22 and Find the Truth for Yourself', numerous entertainers have done Christmas gigs as professionals (there are a lot of Reggae and Hip Hop musicians in Twelve Tribes as we invented two turntables and a microphone format in our 1960s and 70s fundraisers.) And at our fundraisers and balls we take Matthew 15:11 so literally that your average dub would literally defecate themselves at our excesses, but as TTOI views itself as the aging whore of a wife compared to the virgin bride church, the wheat and tares are even more apparant. Finding the Truth for Yourself generally meant if there were 2 members discussing something that there would be 10 opinions, and critical thinking and imagination were considered an essential ingredient in being a complete Christian. Vernon "Prophet Gad" Carrington was a natural food hustler from the Ghettos of Kingston, Judge Rutherford was an American lawyer. Maybe they were both quacks, but Rutherford the White American Gentleman knew how to keep the common people in their place, which is where they are today in their little kingdom halls with the scriptures predigested by Mother Watchtower Bird. It would be lovely if the Kingdom Halls were converted into boisterous dance halls crowded by people with SOUL (the Theocratic Players of internet fame out in Wisconsin need a little more rhythm, maybe they should start with something they know like Polka) but that has about as much chance as another Ice Age in a time of Scientifically Proven Global Warming. But who knows, maybe 12 Brothers and One Sister as a blueprint for the governing body might cancel out the lunacy of the Watchtower organization and force them to realize the damage they have done and repent of it. History teaches that men have a tendency to come to corrupt, cynical, and selfish decisions when not a single woman is around. Sorry for my long windedness folks but there isn't a lot of information about TTOI on line because old Gad man was a little paranoid of the internet, I'm not trying to promote TTOI but I thought it had some relevance to this particular subject. -

There is a great reggae club in LA called the dub club, your dub club doesnt sound as fun. But any club can be fun with music if you know how to rub-a-dub, like Jamaican couples do when they hit the dance floor, not like three men in a tub. -
