Memorial talk wt escape clause
by prologos in" --only those in the kingdom covenant were served the bread & wine by jesus--" ---false!
this phrase switches from the forgiveness of sin part to the exclusive anointed club section of the memorial talk, and it is false because: the kingdom covenant was done after the passover was done.
and the promise of thrones and judging israel in math 19:28 was not a covenant but an assurance.

Aha! Dan is left out in Rev. 7 because the line of thinking at the time was that the Antichrist would come from the tribe of Dan (read the apocryphal Book of the Bee someday) But as long as a Danite knows that it is the East Gate he must enter its all good. There is room for all who love God, Zoroastrians, you name it, for the great crowd is so great that NO MAN CAN NUMBER. So it can't be just the Jehovah's Witnesses because they are always doing a census of their membership, as if a census can number the heart! As for the Danite Antichrist, personally I think that the Israelis and the Palestinians will try to comprimise and prop up a King from among the tiny Samaritan community, but that he will turn out to be wicked. -

The Real History of Mormonism - Outstanding Lecture
by cofty inif you think the mormon church is off-the-scale crazy you probably don't know the half of it.. the historical information in this talk by david fitzgerald is fascinating.
the good news is that, just like the watchtower, their growth is being stunted by the internet.. grab a coffee and be amazed at just how gullible millions of people can be.. lucy harris has become my new heroine.
don't miss the section from 8:50.

Mormons have crazy beliefs about the past. But they don't have crazy ideas about the future, not like the JWs. Pick your poison. -

More Anointed Join the ranks
by paulmolark inwhen i was an elder we had a sister who was known for providing oral pleasures to some people in the congo.
i was on the committee.
this girl for some odd reason was put on public reproof 4 times for the same thing.

King David danced till his clothes came off and ate the shewbread. Who are we to judge? She sounds too good to be a JW. I'm glad to know that Jehovah has placed free spirits in the organization so that maybe one day it actually is his, instead of it being eight empty suits being worshipped. -

Petition to Revoke Scientology's Tax Exempt Status
by ABibleStudent infyi, if you feel that scientology's tax-exempt status should be revoked, you can sign a white house petition to revoke its tax-exempt status at https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/revoke-scientologys-tax-exempt-status.. i signed the petition even though i have mixed feelings about this petition.
i would prefer that dangerous cults like scientology be reformed by suspending its tax-exempt status until it makes needed changes and i do not like targeting a specific organization when the whole system should be changed.
on the other hand this type of action may help to promote debate about revising the tax codes in the us.. i do prefer revising the tax code like i wrote about in revise tax code to protect children from sexual abuse .. peace be with you and everyone, who you love,.

Separation of Church and State are a national treasure. America is the oldest secular state, yet one of the most religious countries in the world. At the same time, a church that is doing more harm than good doesn't deserve tax free status except that it is better to have an impefect freedom of religion than an effecient regulation of religion. -

Stern faced King-Master of Deception-Powerful but not by his own power (Yeltsin appointed him)
by scotoma indaniel 8:23 in the latter part of their reign, when rebels have become completely wicked, a fierce-looking king, a master of intrigue, will arise.
24 he will become very strong, but not by his own power.
he will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does.

It is a sad commentary on the Orthodox world that both Putin and Poroshenko are both Orthodox, but definitely guilty of the heresy of phyletism. More ammo for the dubs going from house to house. -

The Bible Gods Word or Mans
by azor ini remember studying this book years ago and how it impacted my belief system.
i no longer believe the bible is god's word.
however i do have a couple of lingering questions on this subject.

Just reading the Bible, accepting it as God's word without the light of historical context is what breeds unbalanced fundamentalisms. The Bible was recompiled during the Babylonian captivity and also under the Persians. The Babylonians were idol worshipping Semites and the Persians also worshipped one omnibenevolent God. Those ideas made their mark not only on tradition but also on scripture. The parables of Jesus were Jewish parables that were originally Buddhist parables. My understanding of God's word in historical context has guided me to seeing the truth in other religions without feeling the need to convert to any of them or convert others over to my way of thinking, but still knowing that Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of all human faith. Christ said he didn't come to condemn the world but to redeem it. Jehovah's Witnesses come to condemn the world for not bowing down to their empty suits. -

If it weren't a religious cult, it would be a therapeutic or political cult. It is part of man's nature to want to control his fellow man.
