"Neither can salt water produce fresh water." - James 3:12, RNWT
by 88JM ini noticed this verse the other night and thought it looked so obviously ridiculously provably untrue that there must be something more to it.
surely even a bible writer must understand that desalination isn't witchcraft?.
new american standard bible:"nor can salt water produce fresh.".

How to be happy flopping whoppers part time while pioneering!
by life is to short ini was just thinking the other day why is there not service meeting part like my title says.
i mean that would really be helpful to those who totally believe the no collage thing.
since they do not want anyone to have any education why don't they at the very least try to help them to be happy living a life of poverty with service meetings parts, since everyone would be in poverty if they really listened to the fds.. like a part on how not to be upset when anther brother buys a new car parks it two blocks from the hall so as not to get door dings in it and rides all day in your car and does not give you a dime for gas.

Satan was right
by sloppyjoe2 infrom the draw close to jehovah book in chapter 11 paragraph 10 it says this:.
10 to find out why god allows suffering, we need to think back to the time when suffering began.
when satan led adam and eve into disobeying jehovah, an important question was raised.

If humankind is made in God's image why would we need God to rule over us?
We've got it hardwired into our minds and hearts to govern ourselves satisfactorily eventually. We've made a hash of it for millennia but the signs are there were starting to get it right, slowly.
Children are born in the image of their parents but they eventually grow up, mature, and leave home. Only a psycopathic parent would try to rule over them forever.

Dream agenda
by Half banana inwe have probably all made comparisons of the theocracies of islam and jehovahs witnesses.
they both have a dream agenda; the former has an islamic world caliphate and jws the earthly paradise.
the distinction between the two is that paradise for jws is an idea which permanently remains in the future and moves forward like the proverbial donkeys dangling carrot does, being attached to the animal, which is a most apt metaphor for the way the jw org functions.

Eternal life in a paradise earth is the utopian goal of JW's, but not really for Muslims.
Islam has no abiding interest in this world. It absolutely believes the only real life is the one after death, the hereafter. Everything Muslims do in this life, even the achievement of a global caliphate, is ultimately for the purpose of attaining the real life after death.
There is no short-term solution to this deeply ingrained mass ignorance other than slow and gradual social and cultural education and change, which will take many generations. It took Europe nearly 2,000 years to largely unshackle the bonds of religious superstition and ignorance and it will probably take the Islamic world about the same (1600 years and counting).A big step will be when Islam eventually tolerates higher criticism of the Koran, as Christianity did 150 years ago.

Why did God permit Scriptures to be corrupted?
by economy inif someone informs you that your shop caught fire, and firefighters are on the job, you will run to the spot.
however, if you had already sold that property on the previous day (which this messenger is ignorant of), you are likely to respond, saying: shop is not mine..
situation is same with god.

I think a religion that argues why the scriptures are corrupt and inerrant is rather refreshing lol. -

'great crowd' are in the temple (naos) but not in the new covenant???
by fukitol inin one of the biggest about-faces in watchtower history, in a 2002 question from readers it was admitted that the great crowd is indeed in the temple itself (naos) in revelation 7. .
but notice the statement bolded below from that article comparing the great crowd to the proselytes in ancient israel.
the statement is made that the proselytes "submitted to the law covenant.

Just watch what happens. The moment you believe in Jesus as depicted by the bible, without WT goggles, you are no longer in need of the GB's spiritual feeding program. It then becomes a simple matter of knowing the hierarchy and following the $$$.
Complete tosh.
Thousands of JW's have been taking the emblems since the Watchtower started and no 'Jesus feeling' ever stopped them from idolizing or staying loyal to the Watchtower Society.
Does partaking of the Eucharist stop a billion Catholics from venerating the Pope?
All Christians except the dubs take the emblems in some form or other, doesn't stop them idealizing and loyally obeying their religious leaders.
Partaking of the emblems would have ZERO effect on loyalty to the organisation.

LOL.
OMG OMG if the rank and file are permitted to start taking the emblems they'll get "Jesus feelings" and the "Jesus bug" and it'll be fatal to the shit-scared GB. You really do talk a lot of shite sometimes DD.
