Hebrew Was The First Language

jehovah communicated with adam in the garden of eden, using human language.

god likely did so in an ancient form of hebrew.

Did they also mention how Jehovah screwed up the original language at the tower of Babel, thus ruining man's unity and creating untold confusion, division, and nationalism? This singular act of god, which JWs take literally, was arguably responsible for most war, division and suffering in history.

And now Jehovah is only going to restore the original language and mankinds unity after slaughtering 99% of the human race at Armageddon that he originally screwed up. Wtf?

These glaring and insurmountable moral paradoxes are proof positive that it's all complete bollox.

If there is a 'God', he's given us a conscience and moral 'law' written in our hearts. These are a much better guide than a lot of scary old Jewish stories written by ancient priests to frighten the people into continuing obedience. Throw your Bible in the trash, it's not needed. All you need to follow is your heart and conscience. Even the apostle Paul admitted it:

Romans 2:14: "For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, 15in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, 16on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus."

The conventions and the memorial are a pain in the butt for me.

i can imagine those of you who have a spouse that is not awake and how hard it must be.

i have a 90 year old mom who is a jw and still puts in 12 hrs a month in field service.

the brothers and sisters are always picking her up for conventions, meetings and memorials and as much as i try to avoid them, there are times when i just cant.

It was an incredible expose of the GBs duplicitous mentality and willingness to bend or hide the truth to protect the organisations image.

There's enough apostate cannon fodder in that testimony to seriously tarnish the GBs image for a lot of JWs, if only they had minds open enough to see it for what it is.

Geoffrey Jackson kept calling the Bible their "constitution" , which I thought a bit odd. Did he mean similar to the American constitution or a company constitution? Either way, those are both manmade, imperfect documents.

A word of advice clining to their persecutors ...

let me start off by saying i do not presume to have the answers, i am merely offering advice.. i will preface this posting with this, cutting a long story short:.

my sister was raped by a popular jw lad wh's dad happen to be a rock star elder.

in the attempt to fight him off his face was covered with scratches and it was reported to the police ( instead of rape he was sentenced on the lesser charges of sexual battery and assault) but he confessed to having violent, consentual sex.
