  every flea market i go to a group of idiots sits under a tent top with a few mags on display with a cup of coffee playing on a phone with as much interest in pushing the cult as a teenage girl at the check out line has in bagging your groceries.

  when i was in the cult we had to work for our time.

  now its like sitting at the coffee shop bsing with the other cult idiots counting time for your pioneer status.

  The organisation has reached the nadir with these embarrassing literature stands. I can hardly hide my disdain every time I walk past one.

  If we are the progeny of some kind of creator (whether aliens, or a deist or pantheistic version of God or whatever), then we are in the image of whatever we are the progeny of; so, yes, it follows we should better understand ourselves and go within to understand what 'God' is rather than wasting time praying to some mythological, aloof, silent and anthropomorphic God. Our own heart, mind and conscience are all we need to follow 'God'.

  Really lousy coverage on this site of this years AGM. Last year someone was there sending regular and accurate updates. Not a single solid comment here about any doctrinal changes except something about Ezekiel. Pathetic.

  as an educator, i am very interested in where the society is heading with their alleged "bible education" program.

  These dumbed down publications are mostly aimed at third world countries or refugees from those countries with less literacy and education I'd say.

  New songs, more simplified books for third world preaching, fiddle the midweek meeting a bit, refined understandings of prophecies in Ezekiel lol. Zzzzzz....

  Hilarious. The titanic is sinking but they're tweaking music and menu options in the dining hall.

  Did they once mention anything about budgets and finances. That's what any ordinary AGM is supposed to mainly be about.
