Blood Refusal Tragedy Sparks National Outrage
by cookiemaster inso, here's some news from my country.
there was this 20 year old jw girl who was a rookie driver.
she was in the car with her parents and for some reason decided to cross a railroad right before a train was coming.

Child sacrifice is alive and well in the Watchtower organisation. Baal worshippers eat your heart out. Jehovah craves your child's soul rather than a blood transfusion. The high places of Topheth are alive and well in the Watchtower idol organization. -

She found it 'profound' to buy and eat a candy bar autonomously as if it's some kind of adult experience .
You must be either 8 years old or Amish.

The KEY WORD in Isaiah 44:25-26 is "Predictions" and the apostles NEVER made any predictions setting dates.
by Greybeard inisaiah 44:25-26, i am frustrating the signs of the empty talkers, and i am the one who makes diviners act like fools; the one confounding the wise men and turning their knowledge into foolishness; the one making the word of his servant come true and completely fulfilling the predictions of his messengers.
the record shows your words and many predictions did not come true.
again, the key word in isaiah 44:25-26 is "predictions" and the apostles never made any predictions ever.

Excellent if you believe in the Bible. But for the more enlightened among us.....every miracle or purported divine proclamation in the OT is a lie, pure pious fraud.
Oh sure, I really truly believe that the silly old fables and scary stories of ancient Jewish priests and scribes was real historical truth and divine messages. Just like I still believe Santa is real.

Do I need to read all the Nag HammadI texts to know they are bollox? If a few Mormons live in my neighborhood must I read their nonsense Book of Mormon to understand my neighbours better? What about the ancient Vedic Sanskrit texts, why not read them too because there's a few Hare Krishnas in your neighborhood? -

They are capital rich but revenue poor. Expenses are exceeding income. Lett admitted it on JW TV and I don't believe he was lying. The literature placements and donations are massively drying up, constructions being halted, publisher growth suddenly at a historic standstill, and they are having to convert non revenue producing prime real estate into cash. They are desperately retrenching and cost cutting wherever you look.
I have no doubt they are sitting on massive piles of cash, perhaps a few billion, but the evidence is they are having to dip into that capital for operating expenses, quite apart from funding the new upstate complex construction. They are definitely in trouble from a purely revenue v expenditure side and having to backspin hard to stop the haemorrhaging.

Am I to understand this right, sales and acquisition of halls and remodeling must now be approved by the "branch" not locally?
by LevelThePlayingField inis this the now correct understanding?
does the borg now take over even the local kingdom halls?!

What Searcher said.
KH's are not producing enough money anymore and have become a liability, with lots of empty seats and donations drying up. The Watchtower doesn't want it's members spending most of their donations just to maintain an old Kingdom Hall; they want the money coming in to Headquarters. So about two thirds of KHs will be sold off, congregations merged or sharing one hall, and the sale proceeds invested in things that provide a decent return.

these have to be worth a lot of money.

It's obvious how they will fund themselves without donations or tithing.
Simply sell most kingdom halls (that produce no rent and stuff all donations) and invest the proceeds in commercial real estate or other high yield investments.
They are being very short-sighted selling all their prime Brooklyn real estate to fund extravagant GB retirement complexes upstate. Such valuable Brooklyn land and property should be retained at all cost and rented out to create high yield massive income streams.
