It is only natural for a child to ask their parent how and why they were born. And if that parent was to give us the answers then what would we do next? The questions left behind occupies the minds of us children and gives us something to ponder on for eternity until the end.

Can You Be Satisfied Just Having Faith
by Undecided ini seem to be overwhelmed with not being satisfied with not knowing the answers to life and the universe.
i can't seem to just accept some ancient writings of mankinds beginning.
to have faith do you just ignore all questions that may be contrary to what you believe?

Looks good and is very well reasoned. Personally I see no point in the whole age old argument. Science and Evolution are a kinda proven already. To me God is why and Science is how. But the World has its million ideals on the subject and that is just one of them.
Keep up the good game Mr Benny Boi. Have a cookie. -hands Ben a cookie-

JW's in Coffee Shop Using ME as a Lesson to their Children
by Good Girl or Bad Girl? ini am sort of shocked and wonder if i pulled this same kind of sh*t as a witness.
i already know jw's believe they are better than everyone else, what with being god's only chosen people and all that.. well, i am sitting at my table, minding my own business.
there is a group of six jw's at the next table, three adults, three kids.

Reminds me of when JWs used to stand outside the church I go to. Eventually the police removed them after harassment issues.

A Speech from JFK
by beksbks inthis seems rather timely to me.
jfk speech on religion on sept. 12, 1960. these are the real issues which should decide this campaign.
and they are not religious issues for war and hunger and ignorance and despair know no religious barriers.. but because i am a catholic, and no catholic has ever been elected president, the real issues in this campaign have been obscured perhaps deliberately, in some quarters less responsible than this.

ATHEISM - Better World When Christian Are Gone?
by writetoknow instereotypes and prejudicessynopsis.
genocide is the ultimate expression of hatred and violence against a group of people.
this chapter traces the steps by which a group becomes the target of prejudice, discrimination, persecution and violence.

writetoknow just leave the athiests alone. There are 7 Christians for every Athiests. No matter how many Athiests say they want to destroy religion they will almost always fail. This world is still has 95% of its population as religous people. A minority does not beat a majority. There is no point on going on about how Athiests will take over the world and destroy religion because it just won't happen unless through a event brought about by massive changes, but even then there is just as equal a chance that a religion ends up on top too. Really Athiesm is just another belief amoung the hundreds in this wacky world we live in, and just like all these beliefs it seeks to out do all others.

I would advise the Church of England which as a bit of every church in it and adapts to changes easily but I hear they don't have that one in America. :P
