"I doubt Wikipedia would allow a Sparlock page at this stage."
I reviewed some of the guidelines on Wikipedia and I think you are right. The problem is that we don't have reliable sources yet. If it gets press coverage or there are lawsuits concerning trademarks or copyright for Sparlock, then it might be a different story. I'm sure that the video itself could be viewed as a reliable source, but I doubt that's enough. I also don't think linking to Youtube would work.
I think it would pay to wait for reliable sources and then jump on making a page when it is practical.
do you all realize how much of a spoiler this is for the wtbs?
the convention cycle hasn't even started it's third week, and this dvd is getting full viewing all over the internet!
it's short enough and episodic enough to encapsulate on youtube, and has enough visual appeal to be more eye catching than the normal video products of the society.
Have there been any copyright challenges for the videos on Youtube yet? I haven't heard of any. I wonder if they are reluctant to issue take down notices out of fear that it would backfire. I think they would also have to claim the rights to materials in order to issue a takedown notice. Since Sparlock is the name of a construction company and a Pokemon figure, they might realise that they could get into trouble if they start alaiming a copyright that they don't own. I'm not a lawyer. I'm just guessing.
we already have at least fifteen threads about sparlock the warrior wizard at last count.
it's getting difficult to keep track of his exploits.
i thought it might help if we can consolidate the links and artwork about him in this thread.
Here is another one I found.

I found this on another thread.
yes i have failed to post a single comment on a sparlock thread to this point, thus incurring the wrath of the demonic, magical wizard.
my symptoms include:.
102.7 fever.
Starting this much needed thread should help you regain his favor.
We already knew that Sparloch could make Jehovah sad, but now we have anecdotal evidence that he can cause fever, diarrhea, rashes and various other ailments.

at first, i thought it was some legitimate cartoon character (disney or such) that the society was putting down as "demonized".. then, i started getting the idea that perhaps (unbelievably) the society had made him up as a negative "teaching device" to warn jw kids about "worldly demonism".... can this possibly be true?.
surely not even the wtbts could be that stupid!!!.
can somebody explain this to me, please???
"BWHWHAHAHAHAHA, SPARLOCK! We need to widely diffuse a picture of Sparlock all over the internet, and start making memes. Someone get on this!"

It's incredible that they would actually invent a fictional charecter with obvious appeal that apostates can get behind as a symbol of their disdain for the Watchtower Society. It's kind of like all the fun that we have had with the smurfs, except it's much better because they stupidly invented it themselves.
I think it's a mistake that they will never be allowed to forget.
who would win?
.
or...... maybe they won't fight and it could be the greatest team up in history!.
It's hard to say, because we don't know what powers Sparlock has, except for the fact that he can make at least one god sad. It could be that he would make Thor too depressed to fight.
