  Tomorrow is my last day....

  from about 10 am (south african time) tomorrow - i won't be on the forum....for 2 weeks, i am going to miss this place!!!!

  there have been some fantastic topics, getting to know a few on here a little better.

  if i get to me mums' laptop i may pop in for a post or two.. i don't have a pee cee at home (i have refused to buy one because i'd sit on it 24/7).. so to all who do the vigil - i will be with you each tuesday praying for strength and wellness for each of you.. i wish you all an excellent christmas and new year - have an absolute blast..

  In laws again

  so the hubby tells me that the fam is having a dinner at one of the restaurants in his hometown for the inlaws because it is their anniversary.

  i hate the fact that when they call my stomach gets in knots.. they are the nicest people if it weren't for the jw thing.

  it is the only thing i dislike.

  as i walked into town,so i saw a lady with a baby in a pram with an elderly lady knocking on a door,i thought jws,ater i passe ,i believethe elderly lady pulled out a piece of paper to write on it(didn't actually see her do this,but her actions suggest that what she did)

  at a circuit assembly the co stopped his talk and asked the attendants to remove a crying baby and his mother .. she go up walked out the back started crying as she was studying she never came back.. saved by the co i say..

  Back in the 70's, we were having the service meeting of the co. We were a mixed cong. black and whites. There were 2 teenaged black boys, 13 or 14, that were sitting on their own. They were playing grab ass and snickering, etc. SO! The co stops right in the middle of his talk , and asks....".Who do these young men belong to"? Where are their parents? Needless to say , the parents although black, turned very red and raised their hands. The co returned with "That figures. These 2 boys have been disrupting the congregation the entire evening. ...........And now I've lost my place." true story.

  my vote for the worst watchtower term is:.

  circumcision of the heart!.

  i can't believe that there are people who can not only say "circumcision of the heart" with a straight face in front of the congregation, but defend its 'meaning'.. other runners up in my opinion:.

  why do so many people here attach any significance to the year 2014,. or more accurately, think that current jws will?.

  when the year 2014 rolls around, and still no end of the world, why.

  I had one of my deep scheming thought sessions the other night. You know how you lay in bed and get all of these great ideas. Try this for the circuit assembly. You don't go to the one that you are assigned, one where nobody knows you. You invest a couple hunded bucks in Ray Franz' book, Crisis of conscience. During the lunch break, you carefully select the right seats to clandestinely "place" the books. You never know what seeds you might be planting with whom, although, some of them will be discarded. Who Knows??
