And yes, there are many of us who have other sons and daughters outside of the borg. However, it doesn't lessen that pain and sorrow that we expierence from those who are our OWN, does it?

I just had another touching moment. My wife's adopted daughter, 36, just came by and gave me a nice T-shirt, a Father's day card and a big hug. She's a very loving girl, sad to say that she has been dealing with M.S. though for the past three years. Even with her infirmity, she's still very loving towards me and my wife. NMG

I know that I wll not recieve a call from them today. However, my wife and I are friends with a young couple that my wife works the girl. Her husband to be has accepted me like a dad and I have treated him like a son. He called me this morning to wish me a HAPPY FATHER's Day. I was very touched by his call. Sad, isn't it my friends, what this cult has done too our relationships....

it must be saturday night the highlight of my week was replacing my garbage disposal...it went out last week along with my refrigerator (replaced that last weekend a whole nother story) anyway poked my head under the sink and said "i can do that"...i like to think myself as mechanically inclined but after a week driving truck that is the last thing i wanted to do but the disposal cost me $118 and they wanted another $95 to install it...so i dove in and did pretty well untill it was time to lock the disposal ring into the setting...i tried and tried and tried and the mother ****** would not go on...i grabbed me a martini and said ok i'll finish tomorrow when it hit me i was trying to twist the damn thing the wrong way and as simple as that i did it...i am so proud of me.........
AKA......Plumber....However, you have to have a CRACK to qualify, officially.

EEEEYUP!! Piece of cake wasn't it? My first one, 30 years ago was scary, I ruined the sink trap hooky do pipe and then it was all up hill. Ya gotta learn sometime, right? Trial and error and a little commons sense goes a long way.

the eyes really are a window to the soul, according to scientists.. patterns in the iris can give an indication of whether we are warm and trusting or neurotic and impulsive, research has found.. everyone has a different structure of lines, dots and colours in their iris.. so scientists at orebro university in sweden compared the eyes of 428 subjects with their personality traits to see if these structures in the iris reflected their characters.. they focused on patterns in crypts - threads which radiate from the pupil - and contraction furrows - lines curving around the outer edge - which are formed when the pupils dilate.. their findings showed those with denselypacked crypts are more warmhearted, tender, trusting, and likely to sympathise with others.
I have always believed this. Over the years it has been my practice to study a person's eyes who I have just met to determine if I were to trust this person or not. I have been able to read deceit, power, weakness amongst many other attributes of a person. The one HUGE TELL has always been if the individual is sexually desiring me, this of course being in the case of women.

they are just so involved with the religion and will not see any other point of few.
my son is with my parents spending his first week of summer vacation with them.
" Having no Natural affection". I am so sorry for your situation dear. I hate to quote scriptures, but they bring this on themselves all the time. I have expierenced a similar situation in my life, but it was with my son not allowing me to see my grandson while I was df'd.
The pain is horrendous and NEVER goes away. They have a way of cutting out your heart, a piece at a time. If there was a god or a son of god that did preach LOVE, this is not the way they would have wanted it practiced.
My thoughts are with you, as I too carry your same pain.

Since my joining JWD in Nov, I have found many threads to be of great interest to me and such have I printed out for future use. However, I ave found this one to be the MOST SUCCINCT of all. Well, I started A wings IN " 5 ' series, had to eat it when they only did it in " 6 '. I went to the first game, great time, they won. The parade the other day I heard was great. I got a pair of T shirts at kroger yesterday, love the wings. Now GO TIGERS!!!!
