.....that it simply wasn't the truth?.

i never really felt spiritual as a jw.

i knew that i should feel like a spiritual person, but couldn't work out why i never did.. .

For me? Never - I never felt that way.

But, as far as my crazy mom is concerned - I never felt that I lived up to HER expectations of me - I couldn't study enough, worship Jehovah enough, etc., for HER

MY GOD!!! You people start early!!! LOL, actually, here in Mexico everybody starts decorating the middle of October and take their trees down middle to end of January!

I am really behind! I have a tiny little tree - fake - I will put up soon in my window and I'll post a pic - I am amazed how organized you all are and I suppose you have your shopping down, too? I don't start until December 24th hehehehe

2 years ago i left jws.

i went to a baptist church because it was what my husband was.

i knew i wanted to go to church but which one i really didn't know yet.. two years later, i think i have made up my mind: presbyterian.. anyone have anything they want to share?

Yes, of course governments are the same - and the Catholic church runs a lot of government policies in many countries and the US is governed by the bible belt and the list goes on, take Iran for example - absolutely, THEY WORK HAND IN HAND. WHY? TO CONTROL THE MASSES into submission and to line the pockets of the TOP.

The Bible is a fairy tale, folks.... Jesus was a man.... JUST a man... PUT THE KOOL AID DOWN

Look, I STILL THINK ALL RELIGIONS are designed to control the masses - they all work to one degree or another through mind control and fear. BUT, I do agree that some are far more destructive than others - with the JW's right up there with the moonies and the Jim Jones Kool-aid drinkers.

But, I don't know how anyone could have their eyes wide open and REJOIN the JWs.... sorry, those 2 things DO NOT COMPUTE!!!! Eyes wide open + JW = No way
