  Are you a fader, Df'd, DA'd, or Still In?

  i thought this would be an interesting poll that would show everyone the backgrounds of all of us when we left, if we have.. for myself, i am not df'd, but i am attempting a fade.

  i still go to some meetings with the wife to help with kids, but that's it.

  no commenting or field service.. what about everyone else?.

  Fader. Havent set foot in a KH or talked to any JW(other than people who start to wake up) in 2 1/2 years, nor will I ever again. I have a policy of never, ever, ever answering the phone or the door if they call. I dont care what they do, they have no authority over me. I will not DA because there have been some JW friends in the past that run into problems and then have come and talked to me and I have helped them leave. I also reverse shun JW's if I come across them at the store.

  SweetBabyCheezits, i dont mind if you bring that stuff up about the Bible, its real, and its there. thats a good point about the people in office, i wish religion would be kept seperate like the founding fathers wanted it to be. (If you take what they wrote in context and not watchowerize it like Glenn Beck) I never understood, even when I was a JW that if a Christian felt as though being gay was wrong, why does everyone else have to believe that? And furthermore, why the hell would you make a law that FORCES gays, OF ALL FRIGGIN PEOPLE to agree with it? How is that any different from a muslim getting into office and banning alcohol because the Koran states its wrong? Its madness.

  I have a kid now, and I read all the time about how Christian fundy's want to make insane laws like the extreme personhood bullcrap they are trying to pass. Im scared what will happen if these nuts get power. They'll be executing people who pull out like Onan. lol

  Anyone here the murder talk part at about 2:15? Someone suggested the possibility that the watchtower will murder Johnny or Rick. Now, im not one to put ANYTHING past the watchtower, but murder? Come on peeps. If the watchtower was going to murder the most dangerous apostates that do the most harm, Ray Franz and Barbara Anderson would have disapeared a long time ago. You cant tell me that Rick has done more damage than Barbara or Ray.

  Murder, and Vacum cleaner sabotage.

  LOL! I am crying laughing over here.

  Im gonna stop posting about this stuff, cause I do like Rick, and I dont want to seem like I am mocking his show, because I do find it interesting and think there some good from it.

  I give, Joe I believe his name is (not sure) the soft spoken man for making an attempt to ask the questions that he saw on JWN. He also suggested to Johnny that he reveal some of the "documents" he has to silence the critics. I appericate that this guy is trying to ask the questions, so props to him.

  PSacramento, I agree with you.

  I consider myself Christian I guess, however I dont belong to a church, nor feel the need.

  However as I read forums, etc and I see what people who claim to be Christian write, I find that very few of them think like me.

  For example I dont believe its right to judge gay people, I think being gay is NOT a choice, I believe gay people should have the same rights as everyone else.

  I also dont believe that out of all the people ever on the earth only Christians are acceptable to God.

  Perhaps I am not really a Christian? I ask that seriously.

  But I would like to ask you, since you seem to be one of the most balanced and reasonable Christians on these forums, do you belong to a church? And if so, are there people who think the same as you? I found that almost none do as far as my views on gays, abortion, etc, but again, I have anecdotal which is not enough to make a ruling.

  yes, SOME, absolutly. not all.

  as i went back and read this i thought, could I accuratly say most?

  My anacdotal evidence which is personal expierence has been most.

  but i realize that does not have a ton of weight.

  SBC, you mean like "I dont judge and I believe in equal rights, but marriage is only between a man and a women" or "I dont judge, but God didnt destroy Soddom and Gehmorah for no reason"

  Those are 2 things I recently read in a discussion (not here) about gay people from Christians.
