  Could Assemblies Be Wrecked?

  assemblies at the reading pa. assembly hall are getting disrupted repeatedly by somebody who keeps pulling fire alarms.

  many witlesses blame it on "apostates" - rather than the dissolute teenagers who used to do such things in my day.. there are lots of things that so-called 'apostates' may do to disrupt assemblies including bomb threats phoned in, swat teams called, printed green insults stuffed into collection boxes etc.

  add prohibitions against strollers and you have lots of reasons not to attend and thereby avoid the annoyances.

  this is the report in the online edition of the cyprus mail announcing the dc (http://www.cyprus-mail.com/jehovahs-witnesses/jehovah-s-convention/20120703):.

  interesting, this part is almost word for word from a newspaper article that pretends to be written by a non witness "According to a press release, the convention will highlight biblical references to the heart, encouraging self-scrutiny and reflection, which will amount to a three-day examination of what the convention calls “one’s own figurative heart”.

  check out the above article and compare that 2, now, maybe i am reading it wrong, but the "reading eagle" article tries to portay it as being written by an outside source. but they are using the exact same phrases as the press release. I smell BS!!

  i just want to say that i made that post from my vantage point, and in no way represented anyone else but me. also, rick did not get banned for the things he should apologise for, he got banned for violating the forum guidelines many times. and it is up to Simon if he is let back on.

  to me "mending fenses" is in regards to making things ok with the people he offended, it has nothing to do with being able to post here again. that is a different subject, imo.

  my personal opinion is i dont really care what rick does or where he is allowed to post, the only reason i tuned in is because he had the lawyer on, and that was something that i could not find anywhere else.

  Turn pedophelia into an "unforgivable sin" that warrants immediate disfellowshipping with no possibility of reinstatement.

  while this would be great, i doubt it will happen. i think there is a reason watchtower has the policy in place, i bet there are alot of people in high places who are pedofiles. i started to believe that when they refused to do the background checks in australia.

  and if this lawsuit doesnt change the policy, then i think it will tell us that the pedofile problem is even bigger than anyone ever imagined.
