Let's hear some crazy/cool stories!

my husband reminded me of something crazy we did when we first started dating, so i thought i'd share it here and see if anyone else has some fun stories to add!.

we went out to dinner one night...me in a nice dress and him in a dress shirt and slacks.

afterward we decided to hit the beach for a nice moonlit walk in the sand.

Ok I'v e got a GREAT story!!!! No one else in the world can probably say this, but I was run over by my own car when I was the driver!!!!

this is how it all went down:

On the 4th of July when i was 17 I was hanging out with my group of H.S friends. After the party was done I got in my car to leave, as did a bunch of others. I had a beer or two but was ok to drive, i had known I would be driving so I was trying to be responsible, didn't matter, there were other drunks around to ruin it!!! A few guys decided to light off fireworks for the couple cars that were leaving at the same time, mine included. My passenger side window was open only about two inches but a shooting firework came in my window accidentally and landed right on my bare lap (i was wearing shorts) Well I started screaming and freaking out, waiting for it to explode on me... My car was an automatic and was in reverse at the time. Panicking, I threw open the door and ejected myself. However, in my escape, My THIGH got caught in the door jam (I have NO CLUE HOW) and I was dragged about thirty feet backwards wtih the door rocking and opening above my head, hitting me the whole time. Well eventaully my leg went under the tire and yanked my thigh loose from the door jam, pulling me under the car and under the front driver tire as it backed over me. One of my male friends who was chasing the car was able to jump into it before it hit a tree and stopped it just in time.

I ended up with a bunch of cuts, bruises and broken ribs from where I went under. Where my thigh was caught ended up having a HUGE hard knot about a foot long and five inches wide for about a month before it healed, it was so black and blue for so long too. I was scared to death at the time (and humiliated) I know now that I over reacted and the whole thing could have been avoided. However..... I am the only one I know with this awesome story to tell.... !!!!!! I mean come on, who else has run themselves over when they were driving?

"hate" is such a strong word for what i feel though.

my feelings could more accurately be surmised in the simple question of "why?".

ok i dont know if that thread disapeared or what but i cant find it in the search or in my post history ? ? ? ... if you send me your email I will email to you... . unless someone else can provide a link... it was for the scan for the reasoning book that alleged that a book supported that Christ died on a stake when all they did was leave out paragraphs and sentences that said otherwise, toatlly misrepresenting what they really said.... It really shows that the WT society is soooo scandalous!!!!

I think its time you put all that intelligence and effort into getting your wife out so you can have that wonderful family you've been dreaming about.... dreams do come true.... it can happen. Don't flood her, ask questions.... show her doubts... read that thread thats up right now about the new light about the july 15 watchtower. show her that. Show her the cross scan... look at this link.... (i'll post it next, gotta look it up, cregit to original poster...)

i've seen the topic where they try to explain invisible growth, but something else about this wt magazine stands out.

if this isn't adulterating the word of god, i don't know what is.

the wts has done it again and managed to usurp jesus' position and interject themselves into his place.

There is no doubt that this is the same account... the disciples told the same accounts of Christ in their own terms. If you read the accounts, all the stories occured in the same order in both, including what happened immediately prior to (teaching at the sea) and immediately after (curing demons, the john being beheaded at herod's b-day). There is no place for any other "parable" and the incident of coincodence that this would be two different refrences despite the similarities is impossible. The WT refered to MARK rather than Matthew for one simple reason, and that was because it did not cite Jesus as the Son of Man.

who is worst, witness father or worldly mother

i'd like to introduce myself first.....im from south africa,i"ve been a member for a while but this is the first time im posting.all i can say is ,whenever i read through these posts, i get mad ,sad and i laugh.. i am not a witness but ive got this "thing" against jw religion, because they''ve turned my brother into a monster zombie 6 years ago.damn,... if i only knew then what i know now,i would have been able to save him.lol.

he has two sons 8 and12yrs, and i can see how these children are being brainwashed.the older one loves playing soccer and asked if he could join a club, but his dad told him he will get into fights etc.

and how will jehova feel about that.i have a lot of opportunity to "unbrainwash" them but im wondering if i should wait till they a little older.his worldly wife is litteraly a wordly person...what i mean by that is, my brother works at sea and and when he is away ,she will hit those kids to go to meetings,because in her own words......if i want a nice life and and nice thing ,i have to do what your dad wants ...even though she doesnt care about the religion, wich in my eyes is probably worst than a witness.. how can i help them without cousing confusion?.

maybe mom feels that the only way the kids will listen is if she "lays down the law". Possibly they are very rebellious when dad is away, causing mom to have to be oh so very tough? SHe's not worldly though, shes two faced.... thats worse. nothing wrong with worldly

the guy i'm with right now is great (been with him eight months ok, stop, don't judge, listen to the whole story!!!

becasue I wanted it for my KIDS.... becasue i knew the bond it created... my siblings are my best friends, i know that wouldnt have happened if we were five years apart, it was because we had similiar interests, could play together, talk together, had the same friends, same classes, wore the same clothes, ext.... I see what your saying... I just dont think you knwo what I'm feeling. I know you have good intentions though.

amazing. i'm sickened... Jesus himself explains the verse and the watchtower has the adacity to try and say he was WRONG to say it was HE who it was meaning. SICK

and f.b.i.. you tell an interrogator 3 things about yourself.

one them has to be a lie.. if they can tell which statement is the lie, you flunk.. .

i see what your saying now, thank you. I feel it would be best for my daughter to have a two parent family where neither one was a witness because that that is the most loving and stable arrangement and I can't imagine her not growing up without siblings because mine were all only a year apart from each other and it made us best friends, I had always wanted that for my kids.... But things change....
