Well, that is when a group of posters decide to gang up on one poster in particular (usually someone outspoken) and try force a change their behavior. As has been shown here, the outcome is usually the opposite of what is desired.

More than once, we have people on here touting how they are going to bat for JW and elder abused children. People that have no history on this board. Out of the blue they come, with their stories of child abuse and how they are going to stop it in the WTS. Fake court stories, etc. Then, after many people invest themselves emotionally, they come to find out that these tales are nothing more than a ruse from some pathetic moron out to cause discord on the discussion board.
Whether Danni is on the the up and up, only time will tell. I hope that she is. I just wonder what her objectives are.
Given that history here, I think it perfectly reasonable that some people would express skepticism. No one has attacked Danni. They have only expressed concerns about how this came about and what the goal of it is.

I have a few questions for Danni:
What is your goal going to the KH and confronting them with your info? Is it to put them on notice that you are going to be keeping an eye on them? Or that you are getting a kick out of watching them squirm?
I realize you say you were invited. Ok, fine. However, you do seem to be putting forth much time, and effort, and I am very curious to exactly what it is you are trying to accomplish? If it is to get straight answers to your questions, you have been shown that mission is futile. If it is merely to share with us your experience confronting the elders with embarrassing information, consider your objective achieved.

I actually used to be a fan of Dr. Laura's years ago, before her conversion to conservative judaism. I liked her stance on putting the welfare of children FIRST before the needs of self-indulgent adults. However, now, I find her rantings to be downright bizarre.
In the days when I listen to her, she was very understanding and compassionate regarding homosexuality. And her opinions now about married couples and sexuality, seem to mirror those of the WTS.
I haven't listened to her show in years.

Yes, it is true that many people that participate in this forum are very bitter towards WTS and witnesses themselves. Sometimes they have difficulty separating the two. I struggle with this myself sometimes. When family cut you off for 20+ years because you don't share their devotion to the Society, the line becomes blurry as to where the organization ends and the people themselves begin.
In this thread, I certainly did not see where anyone was bashing witnesses themselves. From the perspective of being EX's, many here see the absurdity of how they believed that they were actually preaching the good news. Now, how cystal clear it is to them that they were merely supporting a publishing empire.

I agree with you regarding the same standard of civility applies to men. Specifically, I hoped to point out that freedom from the WTS does not necessarily parallel with the amount of acerbity one can dish out. And even one might surmise that it is quite the opposite.
