if you have - what are the pros and cons.

I remember it being used in the Watchtower, but as far as I can tell it is not pro or con of the watchtower understanding they just take one point out of the book. In the German version of the book I was unable to find the reference they used. I have seen better books than this one but it is not a bad book.

Smaller PDF versions of 1928 & 1931 Messengers -- Can be emailed

i've had a couple of requests for smaller pdf versions of the 1928 and 1931 messenger convention reports.

these are not searchable, but are easily read and are also bookmarked.

this should attach and email with many systems such as gmail and aol.

The MP3 of Holy Year 1933 by Judge Rutherford is al long speech by him not the 5 minute record. Does someone know if this is from a regular record or if it is from a transcription record? it is not the same as the record Holy. Does it have a different numbercode on it? The Judge is going on and on about the Holy Year for almost 39 minutes.

The record on Flag saluting is both sides nr 53 and 54.

1918 Rutherford Jail Letter -- Harvest Closed -- Printed Text -- PDF

a little over a year ago, bereanbiblestudent uploaded a typed copy of an "unspoken sermon" by j.f.

rutherford which was written as he prepared to go to prison in atlanta in 1918. it's a fascinating document that was never printed in the watchtower magazine.

i have just come across a printed text of that letter that was printed in a newspaper in 1919 in pittsburgh, pennsylvania which substantiates the typed copy of this letter.. but, first, a little background.. some witnesses are familiar with the bible students' predictions for 1914/1915.

The pdf mentions "National Labor Tribune" at the botom and the file from Barbara says: "Labor Union Tribune" I wonder if is the same.

Might it be the same newspaper that Barbara Anderson is refering to in this file in §3 http://www.watchtowerdocuments.com/downloads/1991_List_US_Gov_docs_1918_Espionage_case_against_WT_directo.pdf It reeds:"Not part of the government papers were
(1)a copy of a four-page Supplement,"The Case of the International Bible Students," Ernest D Sexton, 310 Martin Bldg., N.S. Pittsburgh, PA
(2) a copy of a four-page unusual newspaper,"Labor Union Tribune," printed and distributed by the Bible Students of Pittsburgh, PA.

I wonder if it would be possible to obtain copies of the letters mentioned in the file based on the freedom of information act for someone living in the States.

1939 Consolation (various articles) PDF

i know i said the last bunch of consolations would be the last for awhile, but here are a few more.. here are 12 issues of consolation for 1939. as far as i know, only one of these has been scanned and released before.

that was by charles chasson and he has given permission to include that issue in this compliation.

these were scanned a bit differently and the ocring of these issues did not come out well.

1942 Consolation on Beth Sarim PDF

the may 27, 1942 consolation (the precusor to awake!

) contained a lengthy 16 page article about the failed attempts of the watchtower society to bury judge rutherford at his beloved home in san diego, beth sarim.

it contains a fascinating look into the place beth sarim held for jws during this period.

The link provided by Cabasilas said there are no markers on the Watchtower plot, and the Methodist Church had no records of who is buried there.

Also it showed that some where cremated and then buried there.

It was described as 100 feet x 100 feet by the responsible person.
