Watchtower CD's

does anyone know if the watchtower cd's from the early days that you order from freeminds has any reference on them regarding identifiers?

can you tell they are from freeminds or is there anything that gives away they were ordered from a so called apostate website?.

The items from research apllication have a watermark on front of the cover. Some books etc are not scans like the one´s from Russell.

The mp3´s of Rutherford might be made by a witness, and are just sold by freeminds.

Many of the Rutherford speeches can also be found here and on witness websites.

If you need books that are not linked to apostate´s download them from the Internet Archive. There might be apostate material between them but if you check them, you can see the difference. So will others.

A little piece of history - the first commentary on Revelation by WTS

i have a small book printed in 1918 by the wtb&ts that gives the revelation of jesus christ according to the sinaitic text.

i understand in recent times they have again made this sinaitic text translation available but minus of course all the interesting notes and comments of this original -.

it has many gems both good and some not so good that would bring a smile to your face but in view of our recent discussions on where did the wts come up with some of its ideas and chronology applications thought i would share an item found on page 81 relative to rev 6:11 - in talking about the white robe being given to them - "by the teachings of the parallel dispensations, which show that as christ was raised from the dead in ad 33 the sleeping saints would be raised 1845 years later in the spring of 1878.

It was also used for personal study,and probably for the field, Rutherford had a copy of the pocket revelation with him in jail.

It had points that where also in The Finished Mystery, but in a condensed form.

I am not sure if everything was the same since I did not compare them.

They where only produced in a very short period, so they are difficult to get.

I have only heard bad replies by witnesses to the new Kingdom Melodies, the melodies are hard to follow, whether you heard them before or for the first time. It should be easier to sing according to the yearbook. Only none of the witnesses know that. I wonder where they get there letters from? Or is it that the ones that speak the thruth about the songs are affraid to write negative to the society about these things?

for those interested in collecting the pdfs of the kingdom ministry for research purposes.. as is well known, the watchtower library cd-rom starts its coverage of kms in 1970. however, the kms from 1966 to 1969 show a bit more of the excitement relating to the prediction that 6,000 years of man's existence would run out in the year 1975.. the 1969 kingdom ministry (51 mb) can be downloaded here:.

Many thanks to Invetigator74 for scanning these.

The OCR of the 1969 KM should be the same as the smaller file, as I reduced the file after OCR. That did not effect the Quality much because the original scan was off a very high quality.

Especially 1968 for which I only had a already reduced file size was effected but the OCR on these files had a considerable improvement.

If you use a program like Foxit Reader, you can also search in files in the same folder or even the same hard drive. Without the need of another desktopsearch program. Just click on the binoculars and you are ready to go.
