i just wanted to relate to those who care that i recently obtain a copy of the work cited as j11 by the new world translation.

if anyone is curious about how a certian passage reads, want a scan, etc.

J24 is available as a scan at google books and J25 is available as a scan at the archive.org just search for heinfetter at google or w.g.rutherford at the archive. For google books you need to be in the US or use a US based proxy server if you do not no how and still want it, pm me.

These are both English translations that use Jehovah in the main text.

If anyone needs the original Hebrew titles for the J versions they can be found in the German study bible.

I have a version of j18 but have not checked if that is corresponding at al places.

I also noticed that the Hebrew Old Testament by N.H.Snaith is mentioned as Sn but it is not in any of the foreign language translations of the study bible that I have and I could not find a reference in the footnotes or in the appendix. Maybe I overlooked it but the cdrom did not give back any other reference to it than the one under Textual symbols.

study articles have strong counsel against apostates - modern day apostates display characteristics similar to those of the devil.

their mind may be poisoned by a critical attitude towards individuals in the congregations , christian elders or the governing body.

some apostates oppose the use of the divine name , jehovah.

JW´s believe that children of those that are not saved will die with there parents in Armageddon, because the parents are responsible for them. There will be no need for others to raise abortion victims miscarriages etc. of those that are not saved.

When I was an elder I asked the "parents" of the miscarriages etc. whether it was logical to believe that abortion was killing an unborn child yet miscarriages etc. where not in line for resurrection.

does anyone have a copy of the zg, the march 1, 1918 watch tower, which contained a magazine version of the finished mystery?

i just got a copy via an online auction, but i think it's missing a couple of pages.

how many pages should it have altogether?.

AnnOMaly the pictures are also in the book that is online as a pdf at Google and at www.a2z/wtarchive/ under the rutherford files the scanned 1918 edition (Sorry its not a direct link it seems copy and paste is no longer available in firefox 3 and needs to be activated)

Maybe if you check the pages with a book or pdf of the finished mystery you can see if the pages you think are missing or not.

All the pictures from the red pocket 1918 edition (can't check wich printing at the moment) and the winged globe 850.000 edition should be there. Like the picture of the seven messengers, pastor Russell in the critics' den etc.

As far as I know the pictures appear only in those editions (and others like the 1918 pocket revelation book)

2008 WT Library Question (1st JWN posting too!)

okay, i haven't been really paying attention to all the letters read to the congregation in the last two month.. this week it was some stupid announcement about mandarin chinese and the keep book being mp3 audio-ed on jw.org (if a publisher is computer illiterate, a cd can be ordered from the organization-but a brother who is tech savvy should offer to burn one instead of incurring cost to the slave).. then i realize i haven't heard squat about the 2008 wt library (cd or dl?)..

so i just checked my 07 wtcd and we have daily texts until the week of march 5, 2009 feb 26, 2009.. does anyone have any info on the 2008 wt library?.

is it going to be a dl or cd?.

I do remember that they ask about your race. But since they do not ask you if you are not married its most likely the Bethelform. or it must have been a very long time ago.
