That's one of the worse abuse stories i've personally heard of in awhile...Good for her that she finally got up the courage to get out of that situation without doing something that would have landed her in prison for life.
In her place I'd have probably just snuck in her room and quickly sliced her Achilles tendon so she couldn't stand up,then used that stick to smash all her appendages to a bloody pulp as she tried to crawl for help
When she passed out from the pain,I would have dragged her to the back yard, where I'd have gathered all her "Jehovah" books, dragged her on top of the pile, doused her with petrol, waking her from her slumber, then set her ablaze with them, using them as kindling..but that's just me,impatient, and kinda sadistic at times,ESPECIALLY when my life is threatened._KS

the unkindest cut of all?
by chickpea innever believing that a foreskin was a birth defect, i left my sons intact...( called genital integrity in some circles).
what, if anything, makes circumcision less of a mutilation than fgm?.
dont kill the questioner!!
-
KenseiShimonzu
Well from everything i've heard,it was for hygenic reasons, with the foreskin gone,it's supposed to be a lot easier to keep the area, especially under the Glans, clean.
What makes FGM different,is that from what i understand, they are mainly removing the clitoris, which for some women,is the only part they can achieve the big "O" with, when they remove this, they essentially remove that part of sex for them. I'd also say that it was the intent behind the procedure too to some degree, one procedure is meant for easier maintenance, the other procedure is to deprive a person of sexual pleasure...probably would be the equivalent to removing the Glans i suppose._KS

Panties or Thongs, WHICH????????????
by JT ini thought the name of this thread was so on time for this thread demostrates one of the sad things about claiming to speak for god, when one actually does not.. when i was a newly appointed elder at the tender age of 27 .
i was introduced to the world of the judical committee.. it was in fact my first case.
i had gotten a call from the po before the meeting stating that their would be an elders meetings to discuss some judical matters.
-
KenseiShimonzu
Yeah JT,I DEFINITELY know that type well,my and my friend's ourselves, had a run in with "The Law" down there,it involved a PO who was an Ex-NOPD officer, that had a son who couldn't stay in there because he "realized" that he was a homosexual, even after he married a woman, then left her,so I imagine his axe was hella dull..had to get to grinding it on us I suppose, lmao.
Everytime I even think about going back there,i just remember what exactly went down when i was in there regularly,i remember how i felt, and i magically feel even better, and more justified by not going,lol_KS

Who did you/do you want to be when you grew up?
by Crumpet inwhen i was 9 i wanted to be daisy duke from the dukes of hazzard, but had to put aside the dream when i realised my legs weren't going to ever get any longer.. when i was 12 i wanted to be ghandi, but realised wars wouldnt stop because i missed breakfast.. when i was 16 i decided that by leaving the borg and living fast and hard enough being alice cooper was achievable.. now i'm 32 i think i'd quite like to have the sensuous, striking confidence and certainty of helen mirren when i grow up.. who did you want to be and why?.

Kenzei - Ooooh, I so forgot about hitman. Actually, I think I'd rather be a serial killer. I want to wear a black unitard with a hood, so I need to lose weight first. And I'd only kill people who had previously been proven to be baaaad - two to the chest, one to the head. And I need to get a job at the Dallas Police Dept. so I can get in tight with the detective who's trying to track me down. Maybe I'll even drink his babies. I mean, when I'm thirsty - after dawg and homerovah, I might be all full up here - LOL. Off to buy a silencer.
Lmao,a black uni huh? If you showed up in a get-up like that,i think your male targets would be waaaaay too easy, they'd be too busy gawking to avoid being killed, lol
That reminds me of an Anime series i just finished up called "Death Note",it's almost like what you describe but it doesn't turn out good for the hitman in the end,it's pretty good though, lots of plot twist and stuff,it shows how in that scenario,it's hard to discern who the "bad guy" really is,lol
You probably wouldn't need to get in with the DPD detective, you'd just have to make sure you did all the hits over on the Lancaster side of town, and everything should be alright, lol, You'd drink his babies???lolz...i'm SURE after that,he wouldn't want to catch you even knowing who you were:P_KS

ten pounds in ten weeks, weeks three and four
by Hortensia inhere's the new thread - we can update this thread for a couple of weeks, then i'll start another one.
it's so nice to hear what other folks are doing, and the folks who aren't dieting or exercising as a part of this group, your input is very helpful.
i appreciate kensei and mincan for instance for their advice.

three pounds is great - are you still doing that amazing amount of work at the gym? I just take nice walks most days, but it seems to be working.
Hey Hortensia, nah i had to start over again, now i'm back down to about 45mins between the elliptical trainer/treads,burning only about 500-600cals per workout, not including weights. I had a pinched nerve or something last week, and missed the majority of my workouts because i was stuck at the house in excruciating pain,it was like a migraine but only in half of my head, and my neck hurt on that side too so.... Eventually it worked itself out though, but it ruined my workout regimen. I think it's partially because i have wide shoulders,if i sleep on my side, the bones and vertebrae somehow jostle up,and when i wake up,i'm hurting, but that was the worse time it happened in a while though._KS

Ah hmmm, well i don't remember the exact ages of when/what but do remember somethings..
Wanted to be a Boxer after watching Rocky III(Mr. T was my role model at the time)
Wanted to be a wandering,Andrenaline fueled, rage filled green giant(The Hulk was also my role model at the time)
Wanted to be a race car driver, preferably F1 or Gran Touring because of the higher speeds, and trickier courses,as a result, now, i'm usually somewhere waaay above the speed limits most times in my car,and all my cars usually had/have some kind of performance mods done to it,lmao
Wanted to be a "bootlegger" after watching Smokey & The Bandit
Wanted to be a Truck Driver ever since i used to watch "B.J. & The Bear" as a kid,my Grandad was also a very successful Owner Operator too..i've actually made this one happen:P
Wanted to be a stunt driver because of "FallGuy"
Wanted to be a Ninja
Wanted to be a Professional Wrestler since I first watched it at 4yrs old
Wanted to be a Professional Cage Fighter
Wanted to be a Porn Star, however the males dont' get paid very well sooo...
Wanted to be a Hitman/Mercenary
Wanted to be an Engineer, both Mechanical AND Chemical
Wanted to be a Surgeon
And that's all i can rememeber at the moment,lmao..and yeah, some of those aren't the typical profession a kid/young adult should want to be..but i've never been the typical anything as far as far as i could remember:P_KS

What type of person are you attracted to now?
by Layla33 ini was just thinking about this the other day, about how my ideas of a romantic partner have changed since being a jw.. growing up, i thought i would marry a very upstanding jw, we would pioneer together, do missionary work, have children, see the world.
(never had any thoughts about bethel, though.
) so what it boiled down to was a stepford husband, up tight, not the least bit sexual, closed minded bore.. so now that i have grown up, seen the world, been married (and actually picked a good man the first time, although it didn't work out), i just contrast that with what i am attracted to now.. i like them open minded, earthy, i love artistic types because i am a published writer, hair doesn't matter to me (long/short, bald, etc), challenges convention, very sexual, still like a traveling man.. i am just curious if you anyone else can compare and contrast how their ideas have changed since breaking out the group-think of the jw organization..

I've always been a sucker for intelligent women, they should be cute, but don't have to be drop dead gorgeous, have a sense of humor(even dark at times),I don't mind cynicism as long as it's intelligent cynicism, and generally be fun to be around,i love laughing and telling jokes so she can't be uptight in the least...I'd also say she has to be into learning new things too,not just complacent with what she already knows.
The biggest contrast is now, they don't HAVE to be a "virgin",lmao..they don't need to be "theocratic",or any of that other inconsequential BS they encourage at the KH _KS
