anyway, it jogged my memory and reminded me of something i thought i would pass on to you.back in the late 80s i had the opportunity to chat with ray franz on the phone and i asked him about this very thing.he didn't say yes or no to russel's masonic connection but what he said was something like, "he is buried in the masonic section of the cemetery so draw your own conclusion.

hi guys,.

i have been told that a while ago there was a watchtower article that said that voting, (i'm in uk) is down to individual conscience.

i always thought it was a judicial matter.

i haven't been on here for a while so was wondering if anyone can point me to a post discussing why they believe jesus appointed fds at that time and, as it was invisible how do they know?.

regardless of how silly it may be at least they attempt to explain how they arrive at 1914 by using scriptures and calculations.

when it comes to 1919 it seems they are saying it has become clear only retrospectively and are not even attempting to use the bible to back it up.. i'm sure this has all been discussed on here before so would be grateful if someone can send a link or try maybe explain this to me please x.

please can anyone help me to find any information from society's literature on the subject of marking.

i wasn't aware it was still practiced.

i would like to know how it is explained as being in any way scriptural.

's to "encourage" their pre-pubescent children to "dedicate" themselves to the org by being baptized!.

not only does the bible dismiss such a false directive, the org's own insight book dismisses the suggestion that such young ones are mentally able to make such a decision!

i am not a regular visitor to this site, every now and then then i get twisted up about something i come back lol.

i am sure this has been discussed many times so a link to another thread would be great or if someone has the patience to explain again please?

i have read the july 15 2013 wt many times but i simply don't understand the significance of 1919 from the bible.

the jws at the time in germany where considered part of the aryan race, (since they were not jews).

then things changed for the jws after rutherford mailed a letter to hitler bragging about jehovahs kingdom on earth.. so can we add this to the bloodshed that that the watchtower corp is responsible for?.

i am currently having a study with a pioneer couple to try to reactivate me and get me back into the congregation.

they have asked me to really think about the provision of the ransom sacrifice.

in doing so i have gone back to basics and have already hit a few questions i am thinking of raising.
