Great video!
Although the R&F might pray "through Jesus" they have a counterfeit and thus do not address the Father. Jesus was not, or never will be the angel Michael.
Blessings in Christ,
Stephen
this video is geared towards witnesses that are willing to listen to all sides:.

it seems to me that most, if not all christians are really hung up on sin and redemption from sin and how naturally evil we all are.. my question, and observation is this : i had nothing to do with whatever you say adam and eve did wrong, i have always, throughout my life, treated whoever i came into contact with compassion, respect and love.. i have lived by the golden rule.. not many people, hand on heart, can say that, i can.. so, is your god going to judge me for the "sin" of some mythical forebears of mine ?
is he going to say that , because i did not believe in him, i willl be judged adversely, even though i lived by the precepts he is supposed to support ?.
all i can say is, if your god is like that, i refuse to worship or acknowledge him.. and i certainly do not want to get to know him.
All is well thanks :) Just dropping by to say hello and rattle off a few posts ;)
Forgive the "universalism" reference. That was actually more in response to godrulz who brought the whole issue up.
That said, for sure I don't believe that all will be saved or indeed that all roads lead to God. There is one truth, one way, one life and His name is Jesus.
6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Blesssing in His name,
Stephen
i've been taught as a j.w.
that the "new heavens" is made up of 144,000 annointed christians and the "new earth" are those that will inhabit the earth in a paradise.
i've noticed a sundry of differing minds on this site and i would appreciate any different takes on this scripture found at isaiah and 2 peter thanks still nothing.
So what about those you forsee on the earth? Are they born again or still dead in their sins?

20571pnt428571 I was enjoying it right up intil the "New earth:" and "New heaven:" section!
Can I assume you believe in two hopes, not one?
What about the flocks? Two or one?
And the Shepherd? Two or one?
And Lord?
Blessings in Christ,
Stephen

English Standard Version (ESV)
4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
English Standard Version (ESV)
16 And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.
English Standard Version (ESV)
11 And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one.

"Tammy, PSac and I never said that! You are most definately NOT damned to hell. No one is. Christ died for ALL of mankind, not just Christians."
Watersprout, now that sounds more like Universalism.
Try these for size
English Standard Version (ESV)
27 And Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: "Though the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will be saved
English Standard Version (ESV)
11 Therefore I swore in my wrath,
"They shall not enter my rest."
English Standard Version (ESV)
13 As it is written, "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated."
14 What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God’s part? By no means! 15 For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." 16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, "For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth." 18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.
19 You will say to me then, "Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?" 20 But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, "Why have you made me like this?" 21 Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use?
I asked the Lord what to read today in the bible. Verse 14 remind me of this discussion regarding "original sin".
English Standard Version (ESV)
13 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am being tempted by God," for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. 14 But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. 15 Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.

I think Michelle has answered Wobble's question already.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
Verse 18 is quite pertinent all "Jehovah's Witnesses".
Tammy, my thoughts are "the world" pertains to our world i.e. mankind. Also, it is probably one of those theological nuggets that does bear too much use dwelling upon.
That said :)
godrulz "We are not responsible for Adam or Hitler's sin, just our own."
godrulz, would you agree that the forefathers are responsible (in part) for us receiving the consequences of sin, see here for example? Exodus 34:7
I guess the main issue I have is the idea that it is wholly a question of our own volition whether we sin or not.
Surely that would leave the possibility of parts of mankind being without sin, if indeed you believe we are created holy?
Why do we all fall into the honey pot
Why haven't some seen sin leads to a sticky death and avoided it?
Are we not just already born into the sticky death of Adam?
I suppose when push comes to shove I am a Calvinist.
Blessings in Christ,
Stephen
he was just a man, according to the wt, albeit, a 'perfect man'.
he wasn't god, he didn't even have a spirit.
he was just a mechano-electrochemical organism.
English Standard Version (ESV)
4 Therefore, as to the eating of food offered to idols, we know that "an idol has no real existence," and that "there is no God but one." 5 For although there may be so-called gods in heaven or on earth—as indeed there are many "gods" and many "lords"— 6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.
7 However, not all possess this knowledge...
he was just a man, according to the wt, albeit, a 'perfect man'.
he wasn't god, he didn't even have a spirit.
he was just a mechano-electrochemical organism.
25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
Musing over :)
