I just read your profile and it seems you are still very much a part of the organization. This forum is for all but most of the people are inactive, disassociated, disfellowshipped. We are not fans of The Watchtower Society. Personally, I feel that they stole 20 years of my life.

Just curious--how many Dubs/ex-Dubs have come to JWD in the last year?
by Alpaca ini have the sense that we are seeing a lot more open dissent on jwd with dubs who are still in the borg or fading.. what do you guys think?.
how many have recently left or are in the process of leaving as a result of jwd or other related sites that expose the borg?.
what was the final straw that did it?.

I joined a few months back. This site has been wonderful to help me organize my thoughts. I have had many doubts over the years and have been fading for a while and this forum has many imfromative posters. There is a wealth of info as well as support. I got sick and tired of the WTS having their hand out. They never missed a beat, every service meeting the big question. Can you give more? Can you do more?

How did you find this site?
by truthseeker init seems as though an age has passed from discovering this site seven years ago to where i am now.
just before we started studying the daniel's prophecy book, i went online to see if anyone had made a study bookmark with the dates and paragraphs on.
i "stumbled" across this site, way back in 2000. of course, like a good christian i pretty much determined that this site had gone apostate from the other jw sites, such.

All these people are in the same cong that I just left. You can just inagine all the high minded ansewers. They guy that desighs for BMW was always over the top.

We had quite a few. A handful of engineers. One designs for BMW, and my husband who is a specialist on large data systems. We had a MD in general med, nurse, school teacher, data systen analyst. There was one with 2 PHD's but still got sucked into the WTS.

Watch Tower Rituals

most usually they are events humans look forward to and relax at!.
what wt events/rituals do the same for jws?.

Each Jan when they announced the dates for the dist conv I had such a feeling of dread. I could not stand the boring conventions. It use to bug me when I would get up to stretch my legs only to get approached by a Brother who would request that I sit down. HMMM- NO, and I would keep moving toward the corridor.

it just seemd like a big production, all would gather around and bow heads in silence while some senior male gave thanks- no more- no thanks
