I just knew. He just had that something special and it been that way for nearly 30 years now. I knew for sure he was a keeper when I saw how he and his brothers treated their mother. There was love and respect. He always puts others first.

Dig692 you said, the f word makes you feel alittle dirty. LOL I feel the same way. I guess that is why I like to say it now and then. I wuld never use it around children.

Every now and then I get a chuckle if the F word is dropped. Hey, after being stifled for so many years I guess its my way of rebelling.

How does the WTS explain how the battle of Armageddon will be fought?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inarmageddon is a battle in which satan unites the kings of the earth against god's appointed king, christ.. the witnesses teach that the bible uses megiddo as the "symbolic" place of gathering of all the kings of the earth, where they will try to do battle against god and his forces.. it sounds so silly to me now that god and his forces would battle satan?
if god is so powerful,wouldn't he make satan and his demons just disappear?
does god need a sword,rocket,fist,or army tanks to destroy satan?.

If mt memory serves me right they tend to skip around on it. Sometimes they liken it to the days of Moses when they had to stay inside as the angel of death passedover them when they put the bllod above their door to protest the firstborn(passover). There have been times they say do not miss a meeting-ever. You never know when we may be told to go to a certain place for safe keeping. It sounds so foolish now.

No, never wanted the headache of that job. The one thing that did bother me was the way the men treated the women. They loved to shove their authority around and tell the women you will do this and that. They could never lend a hand just dictate what needed to be done. It was rare when a male, ANY MALE would help with the cleaning of the hall esp the bathrooms. When it was time for meals, again hey all you sisters-we need meals for the pioneer school stc. HMM why can't you do something too? OH yea, they held the position of authority, so they where good at at shouting out orders. It was a committeee for this and that but not a whole lot ever got done. They would give talks about the capable wife and she could do it all. However, once she walked throught the doors of a kingdom hall she was considered a warm body and not much else. Do I seem bitter- well YES Iam.

Trying to build a new Kingdom Hall but county says

the county says they do not want is done as a quick build.
they sited that too many of these quick builds have resulted with mold problems.

They say there needs to be time for curing wood, drywall etc before next phases. I personally know of a few halls up north that are now no longer used due to mold.
