i'll get disfellowshipped and never have to worry about being "told on" again for living a normal life, or; they won't do anything.. either way, it's freeing and i feel relieved... it will be sad if i get disfellowshipped but i've come to terms and made peace with it as much as can be expected.
it's a huge weight to have off.. was told on a week ago and haven't heard anything.

To answer Flippers question, my father is an elder but doubt he could or would impact anything.
Simon - I've decided not to lie. My kids are 3 and 5 and there will be tons of holidays and birthdays I will be participating in so don't want to be caught lying as if I have something to be ashamed of. I may tell them it's none of their business, but that's as far as I'm willing to go.

Its funny, cause I'm actually in a really happy place in my life. I've made a lot of new friends, got a new job offer with a ton more money, etc. I feel like I'm in a good place to move forward with this. We have talked about it also and are on the same page and both feel the same way.

when i started the fade....i recognize that i was upset, mainly because of the desillusionment.
but, over the course of the past several months, i am noticing an increasing anger toward all thing org.
it can only be described as indignation, not simply upset.
I went pretty much bat shit crazy the second I finally put it all together, lol

As an update, I haven't heard anything from the elders. I'm going to ask my husband if he even went to them. I've already gone to two birthday parties with my kids and he knows about those also. I'm figuring he decided not to say anything but will confirm.
