Thank you, Label... Maybe if everyone reached out to Anne Marie she'd see the importance of just doing the humane thing to do... This is heartbreaking.... -

I remember her talking about her disbelief in 1914. She didn't believe it even before she was baptized and was vocal about it. The brothers told her it was fine. Then, cause she didn't believe it at some point after she was baptized, she was considered an apostate.
Grace touched so many lives. So many people loved her... It is so painful that she is dying, and all she wants is her daughter.... My heart is sick over this.... I can't even begin to imagine.....
Please let her know just how much she is loved. That she was a saving grace to so many people. How fitting, her name is Grace. Because that's what she became to so many....
Please let her know that she is so loved.... My heart is with her right now.
Grace.... I love you... So much....

This breaks my heart. Grace was such an important person to so many on this forum. We all loved her so much. What is Ann Marie's last name? How do we find her?
My heart goes out to her so unbelievably much. I remember so many things she said and how she helped so many people. I can't even believe this...

shunning is bad
by Sabin inso i had a phone conversation last night, i'm not proud of myself but that is how the cookie crumbles.
started off all well & good then up came the arc which i was informed was all propaganda & the oct 2012 polices i got from the internet are apostate & not true.
so i lost the plot, completely lost it, & let out everything i was feeling.

Ugh, I got into one screaming match with a family member years ago as my ex husband sat in the other room and did absolutely nothing but take that family members side on how my thinking was wrong. Ugh, what an awful feeling.... It's like mental torture trying to argue with JWs... -

What is your relationship with ALCOHOL?
by nicolaou inhere in the uk new drinking guidelines have been issued which suggest "no more than 14 units a week - equivalent to six pints of beer or seven glasses of wine.".
another piece of the advice which is getting a lot of attention is that "if people drink, it should be moderately over three or more days and that some days should be alcohol-free.".
already people are making cries of "nanny state!

Awful relationship. Terrible marriage, drank a lot and it became a bad habit. Exercise in the past helped me quit and is a better coping mechanism. I was scawny as heck, but it made me feel better then alcohol. Problem is, I came to crave it, but not as much as I do exercise, thank god... -

Closed - Really? You don't think you come off as completely self entitled? YOU WERE IN A POSITION TO JUDGE OTHERS. A POSITION YOU SHOULD NEVER, EVER OF HAD TO BEGIN WITH. Nobody, under any circumstances ever owed you an explanation. And what you come away with is that you were lied to? In judicial committees. Where you are judging whether or not they are truly repentant.
Excuse me while I go vomit from complete and utter disgust.

Nobody owed you an explanation to begin with. Maybe having to give one slowed their fade... And maybe you should think about what being on a JC did to them and get over your own feelings being lied to. It was really never any of your business to begin with and you don't really know what they went through.
