Fighting fire with fire?

i have not said much to my youngest two kids about the jw crap ones 10 the other 5 .

anyway ive become an athiest and have studied alot about ancient religions.

so the question is should i try to teach my smaller kids that the bible is crap and so is thier god or would that be going to far?

those were the frustrated words of my friend as we stood out in his large yard in the country, just about to enjoy a nice bonfire on a beautiful night.

as most of you know i have been shunned by my family for 2 years because of a photo posted on facebook of me kissing another girl at a party.

the matter was not dealt with fairly but it is over now and i am 100% certain that jdub org is a cult.

but i miss my family so much.

It's a personal choice. Imo, losing loved ones to the cult is like mourning a death. It's hard. If you want to get reinstated and then fade, do it. Do what makes you the happiest.

when i left the watchtower i realised it was best to put friendships on hold.

however i mentioned to my best friend that i didn't agree with how they handled child abuse issues and that was one of the reasons i left.. anyway as i am fortunate and own two rental apartments and he is a plumber so we have kept in contact, in that i email him when i require his services and he sends me the invoice.

anyway i am now dissociated, but yesterday i emailed him about a pluming problem, and he replied.. " sorry we missed going to the indian ( this was a comment made about us having a meal together about 9 months ago, which i backed out of because i felt he was too indoctrinated and i had not disassociated myself) anyway his email continued:-.

Special Pioneer Couple Living at a Kingdom Hall In Miami FL, get the dreaded Letter

just got a phone call from an older sister saying that a couple that got re-assigned from bethel 4 years ago to live at their kh apartment as special pioneers, just received a letter saying "as of january 2016, your special pioneer assignment will be discontinued".. they live in a south miami kh(snapper creek congregation).. this couple had only served in bethel for 15 years before they were sent out into the special pioneer work.

they are now in their mid 50's and the sister said that they have to find part time jobs to support themselves.. the older sister (does not have a pc or internet), says that the couple are just devastated!

we just had an elder drop by and invite my wife to the kh with a 21 day old baby.. i thought it was kind of classless.

If that was me with all the hormones and no-sleep, I would have went hysterical and scared the elder for life...

If he'd woken my kid, I probably would've tried to make him put her back to sleep.

I was pretty bat-sh*t crazy with the hormones though... Border lunatic...

A Question about Hedge Funds and WTBTS

i was listening to the radio today and heard that most hedge funds have recorded a double digit loss, some of them have even written a letter to investors apologising and explaining why this has happened.. i know there has been speculation about wtbts investing in hedge funds, i also remember seeing a video from snarky apologist showing they were on the attendee board for a hedge fund investing seminar.. i wonder if the latest panic cost cuts have to do with losing some money??.

i can't figure out where their money is going.

when i look at the financials available they are covering costs or losing a little bit.

JW Elder Lawsuit Update: AAWA Fliers are Illegal and Uncle claims he is "Going to Kill us in Court"!

hi, my uncle made the first move by taking my mom, dad, grandma and grandpa(all in good jws in standing and non have put out anti-jw fliers or speech), that's who he is taking to court.

i have left the organization but than again, i was only a unbaptized publisher.

my grandma (whom i love so dearly was shocked to learn "i am not going to marry a pioneer and i don't want anything to do with any pro-jw females, i feel this religion is one of the most hateful religions mankind has seen).

Sometimes when you have a lot on your mind and do a brain dump it doesn't come out right.

I've done it plenty of times, I'm sure, while going through stressful situations.
