i heard form a reliable source that a kingdom hall consolidation is going to be happening in the us.

currently they are looking at every kingdom hall to see if they could and should sell it.

any kingdom hall that has not been updated and is in a bad location (long driveway, not in a visible location etc...) will be sold.

I would think that once Jehovah made things easier, he wouldn't turn and take his blessings away.

However; Simon is probably right. The hoops the r&f jump through in their mind to remain obedient is astounding.

Anyways, besides NY, anyone hear of Kingdom Halls being sold?

Are baptisms under the age of 18 valid? Can one baptised/dedicated prior actually be dfed according to law?

in a business law class i've been learning all about contracts.

i wonder if for all of those who were baptized prior to the age of 18, if the wt/elders could be forced on our insistence that our dedication/baptism as a minor was made without proper mental capacity and that it be declared invalid, henceforth having never been baptized then family,etc, would be free in wt's eyes to treat as any non-jw vs shunning as an ex-jw.

This is f*cking god damn bs. Really? Do you really think Simon has nothing to do but be on this 24/7? Don't stress him out and put this sort of stress on him when this is something he's doing for US in what spare time he has. He deserves to relax, go on a vacation, do his day job...

Cripes almighty, give the guy a damn break. What if he were to say, "you know what? I'm doing this is my spare time, with no financial gain, to help people. If this is how they show their appreciation, screw it."

God, is this unappreciative...

i have not said much to my youngest two kids about the jw crap ones 10 the other 5 .

anyway ive become an athiest and have studied alot about ancient religions.

so the question is should i try to teach my smaller kids that the bible is crap and so is thier god or would that be going to far?
