i hope you all have a very constructive, if not relaxing weekend.
i haven't posted much this week, just got busy with business and taking care of the yard.
my grass has greened up in all it's emerald slendor.

I love Fridays, and especially when its Spring and warm and sunny outside. We just cut the grass yesterday for the first time, It smells so fresh. The grass is so green it looks artificial right now.
I have Bed and Breakfast guests (but we do supper too for them since there is no restaurants in this town) tonight and tomorrow so I won't be enjoying any relax time but we will be sitting outside and also launching the Boat in the water.

i can't talk about the organization or the people in it to anyone... if i try i immediately feel sick and want to close up and just disappear.

I really enjoyed reading your story and feel so bad that you were treated so unfairly. From what you said, You put your whole heart and soul into trying to please Jehovah God, you prayed sincerely for help but the Elders did not show any compassion for you even though you had done such good works. If God is a loving God then he would not condone this religion for stomping on someone so young and with such a sincere heart.
This religion is not the Truth, and once you read some of the books suggested here you will see proof that it is not.
I too was treated badly and unfairly when I was 18 and I rebelled against it and starting dating a worldly man which got me disfellowshipped. Browse around on this group, some of the regular posters have profiles and if you read them you will see that you are not alone in suffering because of this religion and its unreasonable demands and their shunning policy. When I left the Watchtower Society there was no one to talk to, no internet, not a lot of people were leaving then. I suffered for years with quilt and pain and no one worldly could possibly understand how this religion and its teachings stay with you. Its inbedded in you!!
I really look forward to knowing more about you Aimless, and encourage you to keep in touch. You will feel better.

I am terrible with names for dogs. He looks like he needs a cute name rather than a Macho name.

i am a bit of a yo yo dieter - i have been dieting ever since i was a teenager, and my role model for this was my mom of course.
in fact one of my very early memories of going shopping with mom and her buying a diet shake mix.
well... i have a little girl who is almost three and i have been thinking about things and i really need to break this cycle of crash diets, losing 5 kgs and picking up 10 once i have lost motivation.

i was just looking through the june 15 study wt and on page 9 at the bottem of paragraph 10 it says.... additional "disgusting things" include acts of pedophilia and other forms of sexual immorality committed by clergymen and tolerated by the church authorities.
is it any wonder that jehovah god will soon rid this earth of false religion?.

What a nerve they have to say that!!!!! But they know they can get away with it because the Sheep believe everything they say, plus they obey and don't believe the media or go on the internet.
My Mom who was a extremely faithful JW for over 50 years, refused to let me get her internet connection. She said it was evil and that the elders had "advised her" that it was not a good idea.
She always phoned the local elder for approval on everything so if others are like she was then they have total control over what they think and do. It certainly was frustrating for me dealing with my Mom and trying to help her with things when she was older and then later when she was sick.
