i had some relatives stop in saturday they were in town for a wedding, hard core jw's, he's an elder has been for years and years.
anyway i was surprised on how the visit went.
i have not seen them in a couple of years they of course must know .
That is Good News Hope, more JWs tiring out and getting discouraged. Not good news that they have wasted their lives and so much time and can't see the light, and.the fact that the Watchtower Society is a Lie.
I know they are your family and it must hurt to see that they can't quite understand what is going on.

I had major JWD withdrawl, I am definitely a addict.
It was rainy here all weekend so I was stuck inside and nothing fun to do on the computer.
I have to admit I had visions that the Watchtower had sent in hackers to sabotage JWD.

last night my car was broken into, window smashed, bunch of stuff stolen, including my purse with my id.
the police said they had a ton of break ins in this area and another neighbourhood last night, it was unbelievable the number!
now i have to go to the license office and see if i can get my license replaced with what id i have here still - i've rounded up everything i can that has my name on it, tax bill, credit card, bank card, credit card bill, i even got out my life insurance papers lol .

Sorry to hear that happened to you, its NOT fair to ruin a persons weekend like that.
I had something like that happen once and it was so upsetting, took me weeks to get everything replaced. Plus its Saturday and nothing open to start replacing things.

i recall reading long ago (so long ago i don't recall where) that someone asked judge rutherford why his office at bethel, brooklyn had an air conditioning unit while the workers in the printing factory below had to work in the heat.. rutherford's answer was that the air conditioning unit was a gift!.
does anyone also recall reading this?.
wouldn't rutherford feel a little guilty about enjoying cool air while the people downstairs were working all day under hot and humid conditions?.
All I can say is that I admire Olin Moyle and his courage to tell the truth. The situation at Bethel was deplorable and almost unbelievable. I was stunned to hear about the alcohol promotion by Rutherford. I am sure that is very unusual in any organization to be encouraged to drink, in fact you would think it would be the opposite.
Glad to hear Olin sued the Watchtower and won. He is my hero.

As far as airconditioning, I am turning it on today for the first time. Its hot and humid. Not complaining though, its been so cold this spring.

that is a very INTERESTING letter. Forgive my ignorance but what happened to Brother Moyle after that letter. I can imagine that he was probably disfellowshipped
Rutherford did not sound like a very nice person. I would think if the rank and file of the JWs heard these stories they would have to wondeer about the origins of this religion.

i haven't needed to take my ptsd meds.. i've quit drinking altogether.. i stopped drinking coffee (just decaf).
i'm eating a lot healthier.
i just feel a lot more calm and so much happier its not even funny.... i know that i've had to stop taking my meds a lot because i haven't had to deal with them, not sure if the other things have anything to do with it or not... i just think it's a bit sad that i feel so much happier with them out of my life... i feel like i can grow as a person so much more.

My MS plus disc degeneration which causes a lot of PAIN. Nothing seems to help and the doctors won't give me narcotic pain killers.
I find it interesting that there is a pill form of it called Meridol. I don't know how to smoke, I hate the smell of smoke and the burning in your throat and lungs.
I certainly don't want to take it if it makes you have the Munchies. I don't want to gain weight.

i came in to the "loving" organization when they had the nasty cold food so i dont know how good the hot cooked food was.
my ex says it was pretty good, but should i have belived her?
i would think hot food made for a happier time at least for the eaters.. brzfst.

Casper our circuit assemblies had a table aside from the cafeteria Line that offered, snack foods, like sandwiches, potato chips, pizza, icecream etc, usually in the same area as the cafeteria but not as crowded and no line ups usually/ I opted for these when I was a teenager. That was in Ontario Canada. Everything changed not long after I left the Borg.
