It's all nature, of course, but our species is the only one that can consciously manage its environmental impact. That gives us a certain responsibility.

Climate Change (nee Global Warming) Strkes Again!!
by slipnslidemaster inthe mid-atlantic states were completely white on sunday, december 20, 2009, in the wake of a record-breaking snow storm.
the storm deposited between 12 and 30 inches of snow in virginia, maryland, and washington, d.c. on december 19, according to the national weather service.
for many locations, the snowfall totals broke records for the most snow to fall in a single december day.. the moderate resolution imaging spectroradiometer (modis) on nasas aqua satellite captured this view of the chesapeake bay region as the clouds were clearing on december 20. the snow highlights the courses of the potomac and susquehanna rivers from the appalachian mountains to the chesapeake bay.

Is the Bible Really Scientifically Accurate?
by FreeAtLast1914 inthe society (and others) love to quote job 26:7 where it says that "[god] suspends the earth over nothing" and isaiah 40:22, where it speaks of "the circle of the earth".
they use these scriptures to boast about the incredible scientific accuracy of the bible, proving god had a direct hand in everything written in it.. the trouble is that elsewhere in the scriptures, opposing views are put forth explaining then-unexplainable physics and geographical notions.
one is job 26:11: "the pillars of heaven tremble.

I think they pretty much coined the phrase .
I'm sorry if that's the case. I didn't intend to use WT slang. My question remains the same though.
Here's a another question:
How can we obtain inaccurate knowledge?
By embracing ignorance.

Is the phrase "accurate knowledge" only used by JWs?

Leave it to scientists then to be accurate.
Like they were in the global climate hoax?
How can we obtain accurate knowledge if such essential information as the age of the universe is so inaccurately described in the Bible. It could be thousands of years, millions of years, billions of years, that's an incredibly high margin of error, with no equivalent in modern science.
The truth is we have no idea how long one of God's creative "days" really was. It could mean epochs long for all that we know.
According to this statement, the Bible leaves us in complete darkness as to the timeline of our universe.

Isn't that interesting?
It certainly is. And there's even more interesting stuff in the article. The cause of the preservation, for instance.
Their remarkable preservation is due to the dinosaur's quick burial. Shortly after the hadrosaur's death near a sandy river channel, the researchers believe its body was covered in a waterlogged setting that prohibited contact with atmospheric oxygen. This led to rapid mineralization that appears to have outpaced tissue decay.
And the remarkable similarity with other reptiles and birds.
The study further determined the organic skin molecules are consistent with molecules found in crocodile claws and bird feathers and strengthens the evolutionary link between the dinosaurs and those animals.

Unfair question because the Bible doesn't claim to be scientifically accurate. Scientific accuracy is a present-day demand.

These trends cannot be observed in Europe. Does it mean then that Europe isn't secularizing?
