Good video and I liked the modulated voice...

Race a full season in road racing CCS and place well. Saving pennies...
that a surpreme being is gonna help us?.
on another thread that i started i asked what is wrong with the new age ideas.
some people seem so afraid of it.. one poster mentioned that new age stuff is incorrect because jesus is for sure gonna come take us away from this world.. now i am opened minded.
^WHOA! If that didn't wake me up this morning, nothing will cause I'm draggin' ass *long week, TGIF*. Nice experience...
Obvioulsy, there's no one right or wrong way, and agree we're nothing special. But, there's something else beyond this life. What? I don't know, just a nagging feeling I guess...

"Well if you knew scripture"
LOL. Classic. Cookie cutter answer and dodging the question. I had a similar conversation with my mom a couple of days ago.
"They are not a cult out to do mind control but to teach people the truth about the bible and about Jehovah and his purpose nothing more, people can accept it or not it is a personal choice."
THE TRUTH........DING! :D
Not very personal when an entire religion is told to shun you based on a judgement passed down by imperfect men, more than likely not qualifyed to be in that position to begin with. Say that to tens if not hundreds of thousands of young people who made the commitment of baptism not realizing what they're getting themselves into, all based on emotion or to please others.
They make it seem like it's so easy to leave or something. Silly JW, freewill is for worldly people....
this is what exactly what my mom said to me yesterday.
loving, isn't it?
funny thing is, before we got into our spat about the wtbs, i asked a simply question.
Yeah, I understand there is do's and dont's, but the verbal barrage can get the best of ya'. Sometimes, it's real hard to bite the tongue, especially dealing with jw logic.
Thanks for listening and for the advice.
in the town of ingelheim am rhein this week there is a "week of creation" (schopfungswoche).
there are exhibitions, discussions and other things happening.
one of the organizers is the workgroup "religious communities" (arbeitskreis glaubensgemeinschaften) of the local agenda 21, which is part of a un programme.
It's just the simple fact of "we shall have no part of the world" which was echoed through all assemblies and kingdom halls for decades, it's what they claimed to be the true identifying mark of jehovah's organization. That's why many on here growing up experienced parents denying ANY unneccesary association whether with worldy friends, after school groups, YMCA, or even a charities remotely associated with church groups. I went through it and so did many of my fellow jw friends growing up.
I never thought I would see this organization flirting with the very thing it denounced for decades. JAYSUS CHRIST, it wasn't that long ago going over the revelation climax book about the harlot and the scarlet colored beast....
this is what exactly what my mom said to me yesterday.

Funny thing is, everytime she calls she always starts out by asking if I went to the kingdom hall. As soon as the word NO leaves my mouth, the drama begins. She just repeats the same garbage and avoids any question that would make her think. I try by keeping things off subject, but meh.
She's as hardcore as they come, unfortunately. And honestly, I don't need that near my family or myself. I guess the only positive thing about this mess is that it upsets my wife and with her barely making it to the meetings as is, this kind of behaviour from a devout JW makes her question even more the organization she belongs to. Funny thing now , when the wife comes back from the meetings like this past sunday, she admits how silly and onesided the comments were during the watchtower meeting and how no one even flinches at some of the comments.

This is what exactly what my mom said to me yesterday. Loving, isn't it? Funny thing is, before we got into our spat about the WTBS, I asked a simply question.
Can you explain to me the change of the term generation?
She couldn't answer it and claimed she didn't have to answer that. After the obligatory barrage of bible verses showing how I'm wrong and how the WTBS is the only organization to do this and that, I repeated the question.
MOM: I don't have to answer that!!!
Me: Ok so what happens when your out in field service, the same question asked of you, you're going to say you don't have to answer that? Not sure if you're going to change hearts that way..
MOM: We're the only organization in jehovah's favor and when have never had any contridicitons. (yes, she did that)
Me: Are you serious about that statment, because you're propagating lies and I'll be more than happy to show with WTBS literature alone confirming the PILE of contradicitons.
MOM: if dosen't build me up. I don't want to see and I don't care.
Me: Well I care, and no longer see this organization as spirit directed. None of this makes sense anymore (not sure if it ever did) and have no desire to partake in lies. I don't understand why you don't want to consider the overwhelming evidence against this organization, at least examine it. If it's the truth, it should prevail and I'll reconsider my stance against the WTBS.
MOM: Because I'm not an idiot and know that I'm part jehovah's organization.
Me : So you're saying I'm idiot?
MOM: Yes, you're idiot and you have no love in heart.
Me: Ok. But you still haven't answered this idiot's question.
This went on for about 5 mins and was interrupted by her saying that she had company. Whatever. It's a lost cause anyways and this will be a subject to deal with everytime she calls. It's such a large part of her life, she doesn't care about anything else. I can't see having anything remotely normal as a mother/son relationship with her now that is out. Do I care? Not really, I don't want my family around this. It's her loss, not mine. It's real tiring trying to keep tabs on her between the name calling and verbal gymnastics coupled with the stupid jw logic, the conversation goes south real quick.
I need a break anyways... :D
Yes. :D
a pioneer couple were obviously poor so they shoplifted some meat from the supermarket...they were caught and charged and being a small town everyone would know about it, so they killed themselves before the elders could organise a linch mob.
sad story.. another brother just drove off a cliff....brothers would later say how he must have felt guilty over something...idiots!
not nice....he may have been mentally ill or had other issues.. does this happen alot around the world with witnesses under so much pressure to be perfect?.
2 in my area in the last 5 to 8 years, not sure exactly when the first happened, I just remember attending the funeral.
One was a 15 year old and hung himself, parents found him that afternoon in his bedroom. Another just happened this year, cut his wrist (a father and husband) and bled to death in the tub.
